I visited Israel twice and I would go again if I could. I would think that it would be very dangerous to go to Mecca. Even 20 years ago it was said of an American Christian that if you wanted to visit Egypt and Israel to visit Egypt first so that Israel would not be on your passport. If Israel was on your passport, The Muslim Arabs might think that you were Jewish and might harass you or harm you.
I also, wonder, why do you want to pray in Mecca? If I was Jewish, I would want to pray at the Western Wall. Even as a Christian, I felt so much emotion praying at the Western Wall which is so holy to my older brothers, the Jewish people.
If you prayed at the Western Wall you would have the Muslim, Dome of the Rock, the 2nd holiest site for the Muslims, right above your head.
Despite wishes for tollerance, I'm afraid that as a Jewish person and an American, that you would not be safe in any Arab country. When I visited the city of Canna in Israel, I was invited into a Christian Arab's home. Canna, even though in Israel, is an Arab city. This was almost 20 years ago and even then, it wasn't really safe for a Christian Arab to be in a predominately Muslim Arab town.

If your Jewish, Mecca shouldn't be a Holy City. It should just be a vacation, and your supposed to have God on your mind all the time, so even on vacation you have to pray. So if you look at it as a touristic get away, I think the Muslims will be generally happy that a Jew is visiting them.
The feud between the religions is very evident, but you will be surprised how much Jewish people and Muslims can get along. In Lebanon, many Jews would come to goto Universities for cheap and focus purposes. Muslims would be so accepting and they would live so harmoniously together. In fact, last year when the war broke out, figures were never presented to the public, but many Jews died in Lebanon when Israel was bombing the "strikly Muslim" regions.

I don't think it would be safe for a Jewish person to go to Mecca. It's like putting your head in the lion's mouth. Why would you like to pray in Mecca? It has no connection to Judaism. You should want to pray in Jerusalem. Hopefully you can go there.
