Someone told me that it's impossible for men to go without getting sexual "relief for a long peroid of time. He also said that men basically run off their hormones. Is this true? [men opinions only please]

Personally I think it's a bunch of bull.

Let me answer the hormone part first. I'm 2 years into medical school. I'm not a doctor yet, but I feel pretty confident of my answer. No, men will not run out of hormones if they stay away from sexual relief for a long period (even life time), nor do guys "use" hormones during orgasm. In fact, a guy can go into intercourse successfully even with very low hormone levels. His sexual drive (libido) will be decreased, but his sexual function should be retained, assuming the hormone insufficiency is only short-term. Successful intercourse in humans is more dependent on nervous function than hormonal. Of course this is a very simplified version of the story, but it should be good enough.

As for whether it's "possible" for men to go without getting sexual relief for a long period of time, I say it's "possible" but it feels "horrible." Can a person who's smoking 3-packs a day for 20 days just suddenly quit smoking? Yes it's possible but it just SUCKS. When men don't get that "pleasure" for a long time, they will get it done and they want to do it badly, preferably through sex but masturbation also works.

starting at about age 12-16, the alarm starts to go off without being set. it just goes off by itself.

eventually, you get married and so you don't have to go hunting anymore. its right there at home.

even when you are married, the alarm continues goes off when its wants to.

if you happen to look up and see your wife in a certain position, whether her legs or whatever, you could have a major alarm. sometimes wives do not understand what's happening.

when traveling the alarm tend to reset itself and goes off more frequently and greater intensity.

so from my perspective it is true that if you are healthy, there is the constant ringing alarm. for others, i guess their dna and hydraulic systems are arranged differently.

there is a need to address a ringing alarm.

no its not bull for all men.

I am a maried woman, sorry, but this is absolutely true. A man's genitalia is always rubbing up against his clothing and is often quite noticable. Also, men think about sex an average of 1 out of every 8 seconds. Ever seen there's something about mary? Funny hair gel sceene, but true

uuhhh it's definitely NOT easy. i can definitely say that after a hard workout when the testosterone has built up it's almost unstoppable. i would have to say my hormones control me 90% of the time, if I HAD TO CONTROL MYSELF for some reason i might be able to, but it's definitely natural to just let the body do it's THING.
