I was pulled over for fireworks i willfully gave them to him and the officer gave me a ticket for possesion of fireworks, then when i recieved the ticket the box for arrested was checked not the consent box saying i gave them up without having him search is this ticket void or could i argue it in court that the legal document is incorrect?

its very annoying when people try to fight a ticket because something little is wrong or something is not checked that they "think" should be.
a citation is an arrest. its not a custodial arrest (where they take u in cuffs to the station) but it is an arrest. stop trying to get out of it and take responsibility for your actions and pay the ticket.

No, a ticket means you WERE arrested, you just were released on the promise to appear in court. As for the document itself, documents mean much less in criminal law than contract law, so a missed check box will be moot.

A ticket is an arrest. Just not a custodial arrest. Be a good kid and pay the fine.

That mis check means nothing, You will have to pay a fine or go to jail. Don't worry though they just want money and will take payments.

they check that box if they confiscate something to, doesn't just mean arrest. the ticket is still void.
