In every Religion, every beleif, every Religious book, every household, and in Law .... Are Men and Women really Equal?
The Bible says we are all Equal ..
the Bible does NOT say;
1) ONLY women should do Dishes.
2) ONLY Men should Mow the Lawn.
3) only women raise the children.
4) Only men can beat thier wives.
5) Men have many wives, BUT wives only one husband.
Are we really fair/equal? OR do we pretend were equal to make our selves feel better?

*** I DO have a point (to the one who asked) ... I was reading a question about "Equal" and some how wanted to see what others felt.
As far as Dishes go.... I really think more men should use paper plates or shup up if they dont get done today!

Selfworth is the truest value.
(My Self-worth Analysis)
I am a woman and am as valuable as any man I've ever met.
I am as valuable as any man in the eyes of the Creator.
I am more valuable than any man to my husband.
I am the only person in the world that my kids cry for and reach for when they are scared (at those moment I am the most valuable person in the world to them).
Others my treat you unfairly but you know your true worth.

I believe that men and women are equal but there are things that people are better at or more comfaortable doing than others. There are things that a woman's body are built to do that a man's are not and vice versa, Men and women complement one another and one is not greater than the other but simply have different functions and callings in life. It's not about pretending that we are equal to make people feel better it's just that in our society some of the TRADITIONAL male roles are viewed that more 'important' than the traditional female roles. But in reality they are both needed in order to have balance.

Depends on the ontological status of the question. Spiritually? Yes. Biologically? No. And by the way, what does "equal" in the question mean? That is, if it means "metaphysically identical to" that's one thing; and, if it means "mathematically equal to" that's another thing. Biologically men and women are nonidentical in the attributes normally attributed to gender differences. Does "equal" refer to overall strength amid differences? Well, I do not know, in that case. Maybe in the biggest picture the one is equal, under all interpretations, and in all ways, to the other. But if we ask "are men and women equal in upper body strength," well, I'd still have to ask "which men and women?"
This is too complicated.
All you have to do is define the parameters of your question, and then observe the actual world to determine your answer.

women ar to men as yin is to yang. ultimately, both sides have shortcomings which are generally offset by the oposite sex. whereas men are brash and live in the moment generally, women tend to be more analytical and reasoning. diferent situations require diferent action. a man cannot always leap before thinking otherwise eventually he may leap to his death. a woman cannot always be reasoning because some situations require immediate action. id say on the surface, there is a very large diference between us. but when the traits are measured against each other, id say we are equal in the way that we compliment each other. i hope i helped

Yes, but not treated equally...
“To no form of religion is woman indebted for one impulse of freedom.” -- Susan B Anthony
“Every injustice that has ever been fastened upon women in a Christian country has been "authorized by the Bible" and riveted and perpetuated by the pulpit.” -- Helen H Gardener
“The Bible and the Church have been the greatest stumbling blocks in the way of women’s emancipation.” – Elizabeth Cady Stanton
“The religious persecution of women -the ages has been done under what was claimed to be the command of God.” -- Susan B Anthony
Sexism… Cor. 14: Women to be silent in church (*not* to be is “disgraceful”)… 1 Tim 2: Submissive; No Authority.

God said we are one flesh when we marry. can the hand say to the arm, I am more important. yes though man was created first and is supposed to be head of the household but not to many men these days. men should remember that woman was made from the rib of man not the foot, under the arm to say to care for and protect.

we ARE equal, we just have different roles. in the Bible and in most of society men are leaders. this doesn't make them better. there are two sexes and one needs to be the leader. women are the supporters, we are more relational and more emotional. we just have different gifts/qualities.
some quote said, something like, "God gave life to man [adam], adam [in a sense] gave life to women, and women gives life to man kind" man may have been first [in order] but women have a just as important role.

We know we are not equal, and any think we do are for love, because we love harder than any man, we love are children's , some of us lover our men and husband so much we let them beat us,(but not me). i wont allow it, and their is not enough love for my husband to have many wives.and until women wise up and make them self selves equal, we will only be equal in in the Bible.

We are equal in the eyes of God, but we are not equal in our abilities. It's pretty simple. It's like learning how to work with the different players on a team. Use the strengths of each person to create the best possible result.

No, we are not equal or we would have the same strength as a man. God created a man to take care of his family and to take care of the land. The women need to take care of the man by doing the other things for the man like cooking, cleaning etc... It was the woman who wanted equal rights. That is why we have a lot of the problems we have today, just my opionion. I love taking care of my man.
The bible says for each of us to submit ourselves to one another, not just the wife to the husband, this is for someone up above me.
