Is it true that every time you move you burn a calorie?

Yes. You burn calories when you even blink your eye, twitch your tongue, pee, chew, talk, move, even when you are sleeping you lose calories. Even when you are completely relaxed your burn calories because of your internal changes like your heart beating and other things.

it sure is true....actually you can calculate your BMR online...which is the # of calories you'd burn in a day if you stayed in bed. This also excludes any exercise or general movement in your day. Mine is 1554.15! so imagine how much im burning if i added all the walking, climbing stairs, and exercising in 1 day! BMR all dependson your metabolic rate. Awesome eh?

you burn calories even when you dont move.
body needs 50cal/hour just for basic functioning (like when you are in coma) and thats 1200cal/day for a person under 150lbs and 70cal/hour for a person over 150lbs.
