the smoke will find it's way to your room. I use freebreeze fabric and air stuff and spray it every day. I also keep my ceiling fan or a floor fan going everyday and on the days I can, shut my door and open the windo with the fans on. I've found that it really helps keep the smell down or out. if you don't do something like this, the smoke will eventually consume your room and it will smell.

yes and cigarette smoke permanently saturates all things around it. furniture, clothing.
so even if your dad isnt smoking because he walks into or near your room or around you it is the same thing. next time u are around your dad and hug/kiss ur dad notice the smell on your body/clothes. so no matter where or when the smoking occured it is around you.

If you can smell them, yes. Does the house have central forced air heating and cooling? Probably more so.
