First, I do not know if in fact people are just "born gay," but the fact that you said no one would choose something to make their lives harder...people do it everyday. When someone decides to do drugs, that makes their life harder, when someone chooses to have multiple sex partners, that makes their life harder, when I had my daughter at a young age, that made my life harder (don't get me wrong, I wouldn't change it for the world) My point is, people do things that make their lives harder. Life is all about obstacles, about getting past the bad and enjoying the good. If God had made a man or woman gay, I would think it to be an obstacle to get past. I actually find that a lot of people do choose to be gay. I think it is mostly for the attention. They will be straight all their life, and then after 20 years decide they are gay. I don't think God did that. As far as a "loving God" I think a lot of the discrimination comes from people, not God. I can't really give any more information than that, because I am not gay. I have no idea whether it is really a "born that way" kinda deal, or just a decision. But I know that if Christains do think gay people are going to Hell it is wrong. Everyone makes mistakes, and wrong life choices. (Not that being gay is). That doesn't mean they are going to Hell, if it did, I think everyone would be going to Hell, because no one is perfect. I had a child out of wedlock, and I KNOW that if thier is a God and a Heaven, I am going there. Being gay doesn't mean, to me anyway that you are a bad person, going to Hell, or are even sinning, whether it is choice or not.

• "Gays are born gay, they don't choose to be gay."
Does that mean pedophiles or rapists are born that way also?
• "Just like hetrosexuals can't choose to be attracted to thier opposite sex, gays can't choose thier sexual preference either. Hetrosexuals don't choose to be turned-on by a naked girl and vise versa for gays."
So by your standard, if, for example, a straight woman is attracted to a married man, she didn't choose to be attracted to him and can't help it, so she is justified in sleeping with him? So why doesn't everyone just sleep with everyone whenever they want?
Because God created us in His image; we are human and have been given self-control and wisdom, and we are accountable for our actions; not like rabbits that have random, indiscriminate sex.
• "It's really funny how christians can compare homosexuality to theft, murdering, and etc."
Christians don't compare or judge anyone. Only God can do that. Christians only convey what God says in the Bible:
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 -- 9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
If this troubles you so much, then you may want to do some private soul-searching.
• robmysterio15 wrote "further proving to fools that believe in god. Non Existent. No Proof. Just theory. He and jesus and the bible were just some littlle thing was made up that gives people something to make their lives seem simpler"
Just because you choose not to believe in God, doesn't mean that He doesn't exist; that is only your opinion.
1 Corinthians 2:14 -- The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Just as our choice is to believe in Him. It's much harder to have faith where there is no proof. That's what faith is.
Hebrews 11:1 -- Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
"You christians sure have a very loving God, yeah right?"
Yes actually, we do. We pray that one day, you will discover that also.

God never claimed that he created mankind to be perfect ... only very good.
Whether homosexuals are born that way or not, is a matter of opinion ... but homosexuals, just like anyone else, have the power to chose whether or not they act on whatever sexual and other natural "urges" they might have.
And yes, absent contrition and authentic repentance, and especially when committed to a shared domestic living arrangement, homosexuals who are Christians, just as unmarried heterosexual Christians in a similar situation, can be condemned by God for their sins.
Also, there is a big difference between having sex with someone ... and actualy loving them.
Homosexuals do a lot more of the former than they do the latter, and because the plumbing doesn't match up properly, the act is futile, it is almost universally regarded as disgusting, and these days, due to disease, it is often fatal.
One would think that homosexuals were born with the good sense to at least keep their sins private, but alas, God must have cheated them out of that, too.
Poor homosexuals. They just can't help themselves, and it's all God's fault!

I'm a christian. I have MY answers. Maybe these question can help you on your search:
Has God, directly told you that Gays are condemned or are you getting this second hand ?
Don't you think maybe some of those gay christians decieved themselves (due to fear or immaturity) and regretted that they hurt another person by marrying?
Yes, narrow-minded judgements are cruel. So stop.

A lot of what is in the bible has actually been played around with by scholars and writers in their churches, some things ripped out because they didnt like it. Other things changed unfortunately. To go by the Bible anymore is a foolish mistake. Let you heart lead you with what is morally right. Anyone who claims to know the answer because of the Bible is just a fool. For the answer shall never be clear in that hazy nonsensical book that will always be revized and changed.

Just because you are gay does not mean you have to go out and have gay relationships. Look, it's in the Bible, that's all i can say. Being homosexual is wrong and that's all there is to it. No God is not a hypocrite. If you are gay you have to fight it. Im sorry, I know it sounds wrong but that's how it goes. And the reason homosexuality is compared to theft and all that is because no sin is worse than another. There are people who just love to kill. Does that make it right? NO! You have to fight it. But hey, who am I to judge?

I would like to respond to this question by asking you a question. Are members of the Ku Klux Klan born racist, are they born wanting other races to return to their homelands so America can be a white nation? Or is that a decision inspired by teachings and their surroundings? If you can prove to me that a racist is born to hate, a serial killer is born with a genetic gene to kill repeatedly then I will stop.
Homosexuality is a choice, lifestyle or misguided mind affected by that individuals surroundings.
Its not that Christians compare homosexuality to theft, murder stealing etc.... its that God considers these preceding actions sin.
If Christianity is something that you believe, than you would understand that what God calls normal is a man and woman(Adam and Eve), so for a Christian to say that the act or lust of homosexuality is ok, is indeed wrong. The Christian that is battling with the sexual urges should compare those lust and desires with the lust and desires of God(Seeing that a Christian is to be Christ like). You will soon see that even in the beginning when God destroyed Sodom in Genesis 19, that one of the acts that offended God were that the men of the city were wanting the men that visited Lot. Eventually the city was destroyed for all of its evil desires.(please read)
Its not that God nor authentic Christians condemn those who love someone of the opposite sex. Its that acts of lusting and eventually sexual immorality.
My God is a very loving God. He sent His only Son to be a sacrifice to save us from eternal damnation.(You may be confused by the extremist who say that God hates Gays and God hates America. These individuals quote the bible and God wrong, and I apologize on behalf of those individuals for that.) God loves us all and wants to know every individual on a personal basis. This is only possible by accepting Him as your Lord and Savior and living by His holy word.
Its more than ok to love someone of the opposite sex, but not ok to lust and desire after that individual.

First, this is one of the dumbest reasoning jobs I've ever seen.
Secondly, people choose to be gay. Otherwise there would be no case of "former homosexuals". A guy from my church was gay, and is now married. A guy from school, same thing. Please, tell them that they were born gay.
Thirdly, they choose to make their life more difficult. You ask why someone would do such a thing. Why would a murderer kill someone, knowing they would face the death penalty? That obviously makes life harder. I guess they were born a murderer.
God did not create homosexuality. Man's desire lured him away.
My God is very loving...even for ignorant people such as yourselves.

God did not create gays. God created us in His image. There is no where in the Bible that says he created anyone to be gay. In Leviticus it states that no man should lie with another man as he would lie with a woman, this is detestable. And they are only condemned if they choose not to ask for forgiveness. God gave us free will, and it is up to us to choose the path we will take. He will not force Himself onto any one but He does not wish anyone to be condemned either.

From an unbiased standpoint, I don't think gays were born that way. There is no evidence of any kind of "gay gene." But before you go tooting your horn at me, I'd like to state that it might as well be from birth. I think homosexuality can be subconsciously adapted by the psyche from experiences as a child. This is just my honest opinion. Christians kill themselves all the time because they're gay and think they're sinners. Why would they do that if they could change it?
Think, people.
