Give her a written 30 day notice and keep a copy. If she doesn't abide, then file to have her evicted. I know family is family but she doesn't sound like nice family. Good Luck!

Just tell her to find another place to live. If this house belongs to your parents, you do not have the right to tell her to get out. If you do not talk to your sister, how do you ever expect to get her to get out? There is a lot left unsaid in your problem and it is hard to understand why you want her out. You can always go to Social Services and ask them what to do if you are too young to tell her to get out or if you are afraid of her, go to the police. You had better have proof of ownership of the house if you take police action. There are ways to contact a Friend of the Court to assist you in serving papers on her to get her to listen. Consult your parents, or other members of your family and explain your reasons to everyone that will listen.

If you aren't talking, why do you need a fancy plan? Just tell her to leave. Otherwise, if you don't want to hurt her feelings, you should lie and say your financial situation cannot cover her living with you or that you are considering moving yourself (so she should start looking elsewhere). Or if all else fails, tell her you met someone and you want them to move in so you can go into the next stage of your life.
Either tell her the truth and accept she'll be upset or just lie to save her feelings.

Well every time we watch cops. And someone is triing to get someone out of the house. They say, go to court, and get a 30 day eviction notice. So try that. And good luck.

How have you not talked to her and she lives in your house... That's crazy.
You go to her, and say, I think it's time that you find your own place. Give her your reasons if you like, but frankly, it's your house and you don't have to.
Also, give her a set date of when you want her out. Just saying you want her out can allow it to drag on and on.
Then, decide what you will do if she does not leave. You can kick her out, but I'm sure you don't want it to turn ugly. Just be firm, and don't back down.
Good Luck!!

Your sister lives in your house and you haven't talked in over a year?
Um . . . . try talking to her, and telling her you want her out of your house. Seems like the most logical thing to me.
Unless you know sign language, that way you can keep the feud going strong and still not actually talk to her.

I guess your a good brother for keeping her in your house for that long. However, if you really need your privacy you should definently send her the message across. I think she knows you are not doing anything about it with her leaving the house, and she is taking advantage of it.

Ummm let me guess, the house was left to you in the will by one of your parents and she is realy pissed because its unfair and won't leave??
If so I don't blame her. Maybe you should split it. Otherwse, Call the police and have her removed (after warning her and giving her a couple weeks to get out of course).
