It's pretty sad when you're at a place in the world where you need a new pope and a new president.

If you actually read the entire thing, you will see it is not what the Pope said. I thought it was too, until I found the whole transcript. Whenever I hear something that seems off, I do a little research. I am not Catholic, but I found it hard to believe the Pope would say such a thing when Catholicism has had enough problems of its own lately. More times than not, I find it was not correct. Why would a news organization or church purposely take twist the Pope's words to discredit him. If he had really said that, I would be as appalled as I am when born again Christians say that they are the only ones going to Heaven.

Here is the full text of the new document that states nothing new: http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20070629_responsa-quaestiones_en.html
Most Christian denominations believe that each of them is the fullest version of the Church of Christ.
While the Catholic Church also believes that she is "the highest exemplar" of the mystery that is the Church of Christ, she does not claim that non-Catholic Churches are not truly Christian. The Catholic Church teaches:
Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.
Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.
All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.
For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 819: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt3art9p3.htm#819
With love in Christ.

The Pope didn't "declare" anything new. This has been substantially in the Catechism. The church "admits" that there is truth in various sect, which I don't believe he refered to as "false," but rather "wounds" or "wounded."
I doubt you'll see much Latin mass, though it could be good for someone interested in Christian Tradition, Poetry, Literature, or Latin studies. There will be some of that.

I suggest you study the Pope's precise remarks first hand, and avoid paying much if any attention to what the media reports.
Jesus founded only one church, the Catholic church, and any baptized and faithful Christian remains a part of the Catholic church, even if some of their ill chosen beliefs unite them with the church in an imperfect manner.

while a CDC record says "defective"it ability that a undeniable religious team does not have the whole sacramental equipment with Apostolic Succession of bishops who can hint their ordinations back to the Apostles and have a real sacramental self awareness. this does not advise that the Catholic Church, rather after Vat II, thinks that non Catholic Christians have not got genuine ability of grace of their "ecclesial communities" for salvation and sanctification. Trinitarian(F,S& H Sp)Baptism with the aid of alternative trinitarians is regarded as equivalent to Catholic Baptism. The sacramentality of two rightly disposed (a million guy& a million female, needless to say)baptized Protestants' marriage is upheld. i do no longer remember the Catholic Church claiming to be the "merely genuine course to salvation" in the text cloth because of the fact that ought to be opposite to Catholic theology. The Catholic Church is the genuine Church based with the aid of Christ yet to coach that exterior the Papal Communion there is not any salvation is condemned and persons have been excommunicated while refusing to settle for Protestants as applicants for heaven.

He has allowed the Tridentine Mass to be prayed if a parish so wishes it. It will not replace anything...it is only an available option. By the way, do you even know what a Catholic Mass really is. I seriously doubt it.
And with all the rest of your rambling, your name suits you well.

ALL Protestant churches contain varying amounts of Truth....the Catholic Church contains the whole Truth. ALL of Protestantism is manmade --- invented in 1517 and still growing to this date.

mary is sinless,
pope and catholic church are infallible.
word of God is not 100% true,
mary is intercessor, mother of God, queen in heaven.
the dead can be prayed to,
lies after lies after lies.
only one verse describes them.
John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
