The only way to get this information is to contact bluecross or go to their website. Every plan is different. I had two taken out and they were covered at 80%.

Your health insurance plan may cover wisdom teeth removal, if they are bone impacted. If they are bone impacted, you are seeing an oral surgeon to have these removed, right? Check with the insurance coordinator, and you should also call your health and dental plans to see how they work. For instance, some plans will have the dental billed 1st for a denial, then the medical pays, and vice versa.

Personally, I don't have very good dental insurance. Oral surgery isn't covered and I only got about $30-40 from insurance for my wisdom tooth extractions which were probably around $100 each.

HELLO,
ARE YOU ASKING IF MEDICAL INSURANCE COVERS DENTAL OR IF DENTAL COVERS WISDOM TEETH?
THE DENTAL ALWAYS COVERS WISDOM TEETH.
