Only one? That makes it tough. I guess I would give Him my three choices and let Him choose which one I got.
My choices would be:
1. The ability to heal all the sick and injured people of the world.
2. The ability to end hunger and poverty.
3. I like to be able to stop all the violence in the world.

The ability to stop time (like Hiro from the TV show Heroes) - you could do almost anything! And since you only have the power for a week, you could make that week last forever.

Mine would be to magically grant wishes like a Djinni. And then I would twist the meaning each time to teach the greedy terrible lessons in caution. Lastly, I would grant myself some wishes.

If God offerend me 1 super power, it would be the ability to interview him. and know what he really thinks. end all that religious violence crap. I'd also ask to be in control of the media.
