Ladies, Ladies - easy now, it's not such a simple question as it may seem! :)
In North America, men will wear their wedding ring on the ring finger of their left hand. There are two reasons for this, one romantic, one less so.
1 - The ancient Greeks believed that the ring finger of the left hand led directly to a man's heart. Touching, I know. This tradition was passed down through the years to the Anglo-Saxon culture. Long road, great story.
2 - Less romantically, and more practically, men who were laborers avoided wearing the ring on their right hand as they were right handed. The ring is more likely to be damaged or get caught on something, which is not so good.
That being said, in other cultures, wedding rings are worn on the right hand on the ring finger. This is the case often in Latin America and in the Middle East. Further, some cultures wear an engagement ring on the right hand ring finger, and then switch the ring over to the left hand at the wedding ceremony.

left hand, just like the female.
If the male is on a business trip, the wedding ring is usually put in a pocket if he plans to cheat on his wife - jacket inside right pocket is traditional, I believe.
A divorced man who can't let go emotionally of the relationship might continue to wear the ring on his left hand, but traditionally, it should be on the right, or not worn at all.
If the left arm has been dismembered (perhaps a combine accident), then the male may wear his wedding ring on the right hand to display his committment to his betrothed. I do not know etiquette however if both arms have been dismembered.
