We are getting married next year. It is a Pagan / Celtic wedding are problem is finding a HP to marry us. So we were thinking about getting married (legal) at court house then doing the wedding with OUR words and all. Just looking for comments on this

You could always see if a JP would go to the venue where your wedding is or look online or in your local yellow pages for wedding chapels. They usually have an officiant that will do any type of ceremony. You would probably need to write your own vows and everything you want him/her to say at the wedding. Congrats.

Look in your area for an ordained minister. Usually about a $100 charge and they will go to your location. If you really want it your way, get one of your friends to become ordained. You can find a number of websites that can make it legal for someone to become an ordained minister and marry people.

There's got to be someone in your area that could do it for you.

ask all your friends to recommend a justice of the peace,,,there are people out there who will do whatever you want,,my daughter got married in a park and had one. good luck!

In some states you can have a friend become ordained on line, then a friend or family member can do your ceremony, so check into that!
