I'm not what the Jehovah's Wittnesses term an 'apostate'. I dont tell lies about them, dont incite hate against them & I answer questions about their religion neutrally &objectively. I was never disfellowshiped as I was never baptised.
1.) Jehovah's Wittnesses refuse whole blood transfusions but do accept transfusions of blood fractions. If whole blood is sacred, then why do you not consider its separate components or fractions sacred?
2.) If what you teach is "The Truth" then why do you keep seeing things under "new light" and changing fundamental teahings such as the blood issue?
3.) Why when claims of sexual abuse within your religion emerge, do so many of you INSTANTLY say "What horrible lies" "This is not true"...I was in a room with JWs when one such story was on the TV news and their first instinct was to claim it was all a lie.
I would SINCERELY appreciate some straight forward answers.

Foxtrot- They DO accept fractions...see this link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgLgpwDpyDaTQPgzIoZWcsXsy6IX?qid=20070710000707AAA4tOl
No I don't bash JWs, I stick up for them when they are unfairly judged, I am not an apostate, I just want answers to these questions, I NEVER said the abuse was widespread...just that when it happens they tend to deny it (was in a room fillled with 9 JWs and they all said the same thing)
Yes they do teach good basic morals...I was raised as one so am well aware of this.

i realise that this question is for JW's--and iam not one of them--but i would like to make this comment:
"do not expect the impossible--and a straight answer from any one of them is JUST that--impossible!"
i studied with them a long time and never did they show me in the original scriptures that Gods name was JEHOVAH--no where--in the Bible God gives his name himself--"I AM"
if you would like an accurate translation of the word JEHOVAH it is this : "Son of Hovah" as is Jesus, the correct
Greek translation is "Son of Zeus" now, the God that said his name was "IAM" had no daddy.
you use a little logic here--God gave u logic--does Almighty God have a Daddy?
YHWH is not and has never been Jehovah--not to the ones who originally wrote it down. Remember Jesus said " Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name..." Hallowed here means--"Too Holy is thy name to be spoken" YHWH has no vowels for a reason--so it cannot and will not and NEVER ever be spoken--its Too Holy! these people who study with the JW's repeat and memorise all that they are told--so they all say the same thing--the same way--no need to think here--dont use that brain that God gave you--why? its useless
when all u have to do is memorise what your false teachers have taught you...they all say the same words exactly--and it is never straight answers--so dear, forget any straight answers--they don't know any.

1. Jehovah's Witnesses to not accept any transfusions of
whole blood, red cells, white cells, platelets, or plasma, which are the main components of blood. Regarding minor fractions this is a conscience matter. The same with blood dialyzes. You might want to ask someone in your family for more detailed information on exactly what a minor fraction is. As I stated before, this is a conscience matter.
2. The blood issue has not changed, we still do not accept blood transfusions.
3. I think that would be true of anything. "Innocent until proven guilty". Most reports like that come from those who are opposed to Witnesses and are seeking to discredit us.
I'm not saying it has never happen, because I do know of an incident and the brother went to prison. Anyone who has been involved in such things, cannot hold any position in the congregation ever again and if they are proven quilty, it is reported to the police. It is the victims responsibility to press charges. I think the question is why are they putting it on the news as if it is a widespread problem? Implying that it is not handled correctly etc... That is the apostates doing. Believe me, if someone confesses to something illegal, it will be reported to the police. If they are truly repentant, they will report themselves, but if not, the brothers will advise the police and they will be removed from the congregation as an unapproved associate.

The questioner should ask these three so-called "questions" as three separate questions. This answer considers only the first question in this "question"...
Jehovah's Witnesses have for many decades understood that adherence to Acts 15:20,28,29 and related bible principles meant that a true Christian would not "use" blood for any human purpose and would recognize that the bible command to 'abstain from "blood"' must logically include abstaining from components which seem theologically and reasonably equivalent, even if not medically synonymous.
The publications of Jehovah's Witnesses formerly worked to conscientiously specify how and why a dozen or so different minor blood fractions might be considered to be affected or not affected by the bible command to 'abstain from blood'. As medical and scientific technology has progressed, it became clear that any list that could be compiled would be both incomplete and subject to constant change (based on secular research and pharmaceutical production methods).
A Pharisaical tendency would have moved a less godly organization to continue to maintain such a "list". Jehovah's Witnesses are certainly NOT Pharisaical, and so about a decade ago the publications of Jehovah's Witnesses noted that Acts 15:20,28,29 undoubtedly applies to the use of whole blood, plasma, platelets, and red/white cells; that is, the Divine Author Jehovah God plainly wishes for humans and especially Christians to respect blood and to abstain from it and its major components. While the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses would no longer take any position for or against any minor blood fraction, each Christian was/is encouraged to follow his informed conscience.

I am not a JWs but this is what i've learned from my personal study of their beliefs. They do refuse whole blood transfusions. Regarding the fractions of blood, it is by conscience. The Watchtower or their congregation will not and should not judge or condenm the individiual who will accept or (not) blood fractions.
Just FYI: Most hospitals now prefer to do surgery without blood transfusions.
Your number #2 question: aah, i'll leave that up to the Witnesses to answer. All i know is that we ALL mis-interpret what is written in the BIble. Sometimes we take it literally when it is symbolic and vice versa. I am confident that God's Holy Spirit is used to correct these misintreperations. If your family or any of your relatives are Witnesses, they why not personally ask them? (mmh???)
Regarding abuse. My co-worker who is a Witness had shared some sad information about this. She said that " a brother in faith" was thrown in jail and on trial for sexualy abusing someone out of their congregation. Although the congregation tried to hide it from other members of the congregation, they did encouraged the "brother" to repent and turn himself in to authorities. That's why he is in jail now.
I also saw in the news a long time ago about a "former Witness family" (it was on DATELINE) who went on National TV and "expose" the Witnesses regarding sexual abuse. Not sure if you guys saw that. It was years ago.The "father" who claimed to be a former elder looked like a rapist to me. Sorry to judge!. He had long dirty beard and unkept mustache. It was just odd because most elders i've observed attending some meetings their KH are well cut- (most of them did not have mustaches).
Anyway, this is my opinion.
JWs, hope you give satisying answers!

2) God's law does not change but science has. Where before there has been no opportunity to go through certain surgeries with out blood, now there are doctors that are willing to perform operations with out blood, along with tools, procedures and techniques that allow surgical operations for Jehovah's Witnesses that were not available until recently that do not use whole blood, red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, blood plasma, or the need for blood storage.
3) I can not speak for others since I have never done it, but believing everything that is posted on an open forum is ill-advised. As such it is unwise to give out advice to someone if you only hear their one side of the story.

Sorry but english is not my native language is spanish and I have to do a great effort but when do i sidestepped ALL your questions?
About the fractions I would tell you this salt is the union of two poison NA + Cl (Sodium and Cholride) if you consume separate they can harm you but when they are mixed are safe it use. Maybe it is the same but upside down.
and changing fundamental teachings?
this is our fundamental teaching and it hasn´t change
What will Jesus do during his 1000 year kingdom? Jehovah ´s witness preach that Jesus after Armageddon and destruction of evildoers, Satan and his demons will be "Jailed" for 1000 years in the mean time Jesus will rule the earth with a group redeemed from earth (Revelation 5:10, 14:1-5) will resurrect people (Acts 24:15 and John 5:28-29) will provide food and eliminate famines (Psalm 72:16) will restore the health of humans (Isaiah 35:5-6, 33:24) will eliminate the death and the cause of the death and suffering (Revelation 21:4) in resumen will transform the earth in a great place to live a "new earth" the original purpose of God with Adam and Eve before they sinned (Genesis 1:28) .
After 1000 years , Satan will be release and mankind will have a second test and after that Satan will be cast into the lake of fire (destroyed) and Jesus give the kingdom to his father (Jehovah) (1 Corithians 15:28)
About sexual abuse can happen yes but as soon is discover we disfellowship the sinner we don´t hide, even in heaven God has people who sinned, and about the reaction is normal we have been calummniate in democracy of been comunist in comunist been acusated of been spies, etc ,etc.

umm no,
1. They do not accept blood "fractions" as the defined as the four main components of blood.
2. I have studied this groups current and past publications. As with what Jesus said, his followers would be stopped from working by the night. This was illustration that was followed by his prophecy that before he returned the day would approach and the light would once again shine. as regards doctrine. yes they have continually adjusted their thinking to new understandings. But which religion should you trust? The one that vehemently hols to traditions that are not Bible ordained, and have been proved to have originated in paganism? Or the religion that is willing to let go of incorrect understanding for that which continues to make the Bible message more clear on concise?
As regards the allegations of widespread sex abuse? Within every organization there are imposter's, yet, with the rules of the laws of the governments, JW's report every allegation of child molestation directly to the police, and as far as those caught in sexual abuse as adultery and fornication? They are removed from the congregations. If you can find a flaw in this organization I must ask this counterpoint question:
In the complete absence of any religious group doing the work Jesus commanded of spreading the good news of the Bible (Mormons don;t count because they are promoting the Book of Mormon), exactly who is there left that devotes 1.2 billion hours a year to engage in a self supported preaching effort to bring the good news to every human alive, how is it that you can not look past your petty gripes and see that these people are hard working industrious people who benefit the communities they live in?
They teach people to stay married, be responsible employees and employers, stay off drugs, not be drunks, pay their taxes, and generally be good citizens.
Sounds to me like either you are an apostate, or a JW hater based on your jealousy that your favorite religion can agree on anything while the JW's freely unite to build their Kingdom Halls with volunteer labor, and work together in unity whereas your Church probably gripes about the Korean Congregation you had to rent your sanitary out to to pay your electric bill.
BTW? I am not a JW, yet I will defend any orginization from an unwarranted attack from an ill informed person such as you!
