I often burn incense during meditation or in the bathroom when I bathe so that the scents get into my skin and my hair and make me smell good all day. Now, I read this thing somewhere that Buddhist temples and Churches that burn incense have poor air quality and links to asthma, and breathing issues. I always have at least one window open and my house is pretty big, and I LOVE the smells. Am I gonna die? I can't imagine life without my incense rituals. Everyone that comes here, says my house smells so good. I don't burn cheap crap. I use all types of true Indian temple grade masala incenses...a lot of different fragrances. None of them irritate me or my kids even.
But, how many of you Buddhists and Church goers have issues related to incense? Care to share? I'm tripping now...

Of course, I'm not burning giant bundles like a Hari krishna devotee.
