Who would win in a war . . . The wizards and witches of Hogwarts or the US Military with their Marines, Tanks, F-22's, and other war technologies?

In my opinion, I think the Military would win, because if all else fails, they could nuke the **** out of Hogwarts.

Through out the fantasy novels i have read, a similar theme is discussed. This would depend on how long the Hogwarts can survive for under constant attack by a military force. Magic has physical limitations of the user. So if the military has numbers big enough which it is willing to sacrifice without a second thought, it might be a hard, and fruitless fight. The losses on both side will be immense to make the victory useless for most part.

Hypothetically the U.S hands down. We would just launch a 20 megaton nuke at the school. They wouldn't have time to conjure any kind of shield. And even if they did could it take a 40,000 megaton explosion (I highly doubt it, seeing as an explosion(s) of that magnitude would destroy all life on Earth).

I would sure hate to be hit by Ginny's boogie bat jinx but I am with you the U.S. would overwhelm them. Now if the Giants were involved....
