Not particularly, since the current concept of hell was developed by Christians.

A true Christian is someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. They believe in the trinity, saving grace, the resurrection, and agree to live their lives according to Him. It's not good enough in His eyes to be a good person and believe that there is a God out there somewhere. He wants more than that from us. If you are not a Christian and not choosing to live your life His way then I don't understand why one would bother even believing in heaven and hell. Try living in His word and you will not be disappointed. Go to a pastor of a church because they have more info on the details than I do. All I know is that with my Christianity I don't need to ask this question. I know where I'm going.

How do we define Christian exactly? Christ like? Sorry to burst many bubbles out there but what ever happened to John 3:16 If you truly believe you will have ever lasting life right? I believe so or the word is a joke....
I do know there's much more to it then just belief but if you have a true conversion your life changes through process into the perfection of Christ ..His will and obeying it for each individual has everything to do with this process, and the character that you end up with.. Of course perfection is taken out of context and made into something that humans can't attain by some that don't understand about God's perfection....
The bottom line is that you must believe to go to have ever lasting life.. But I also believe that God is extremely merciful and reckons with those who need a chance...How do we know that some one on their death bed wont change their mind at that point and are converted ? Or what about people who never had access to truth or the young ...I think mercy goes farther then some want to believe but I bet there's boundaries also that you can't cross!

Nope! To both your questions.
"I am Just"- God
"No one gets to the Father but through the Son"-Jesus
"Judge not lest you be judged"-Mathew 7:1 The rest says, "and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Hypocrite first remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck form your brother's eye." Mathew 7:1-5
This does not pertain to God, but to Us and how we are to judge sin.
God judges us without a plank, without a speck, Holy and pure and without sin.
"I brought you into this world, and I can take you out." unknown but used by parents all the time.
Think of this: If I am wrong, so what I have lost nothing.
What if you are wrong?

If a person has heard of Jesus and has been witnessed to, it is up to that person to accept it or not. If they do not accept it they will go to Hell. If they do accept it and live a life according the Bible, they will go to Heaven. Now if a person has never heard of Jesus and the gospel and lives a "Christian-like" life, they will go to Heaven. God does not hold you accountable for what you don't know. Just because you are Christian it doesnt mean you'll go to heaven if you are not living a Christian life.

it's a wrong assumption that peoples of faiths other than Christianity is doomed to Hell. Religions have different points-of-view when it comes to Heaven and Earth. But 2 things are certain: 1.) That there is an existence of Heaven and Hell, and 2.)That religions want its followers to be good people in this world, and only that can one guarantees a piece in heaven.

Many "theories and beliefs" have been said in line with this question. What if there's truth that there is life eternal after death? What if Non-Christians will really go suffer in that forever-burning lake of fire? What if the so-called fairy tales and myths about Christianity are true? May I encourage you to figure the truth out for yourself. Why not read the Bible and understand what the Book has to say about it? Figuring it out wont cost you a thing...might even secure your eternal destination--away from eternal (gazillion years.. forever) pain.

Every belief has their own idea of Heaven and Hell. Mine is, as a Christian, that you have to believe the terrible punishment that Christ suffered on His way to the cross, believe He died for us, and was resurrected conquering death so we can too. So, I believe you have to be saved by Grace thru faith to get into Heaven. Following are some verses I believe in that can help anyone that wants to know more. Thanks for the question and have a great day!

Christians can be mean and hateful (1st answer is a mild but good example) and go to heaven. Non Christians can be gentle, generous people and burn in hell, hmmmm... Not to mention that even a Christian will burn in hell if they so much as doubt the "holy spirit" for a second. Really, it's in there.
The bible is part mythology, part political document and part fairly good advice (do unto others, etc). Don't take it for more than it is and you'll be happier, OK?

First of all the word Christian was given to people who acted like Christ. It was made up by non be livers. Being a Christian just means that you act like Christ. If you don't act like Christ (Jesus) then don't call yourself a Christian. Jesus Christ did not come to earth to judge he came to save. Before his sacrifice there would be no way that we in today's time could ever go to heaven. You will have to read the Old Testament to understand that. Anyway Jesus Christ died to pay our sacrifice. Would you do that for someone? I know I could not just let someone crucify me just to save a world that hates me.
Second- There is a way to get to heaven no matter what you call yourself. That is to accept the fact that you are a sinner, admit that you sin, tell God that you know you sin, and confess that you be live Jesus died on the cross so that you can go to heaven. That is the whole purpose of Jesus ever walking on this earth. HE DIED FOR YOU. You don't have to do one thing to go to Hell. Just be born and die and you can get there. However, to get to Heaven all you have to do is believe in Jesus Christ. What is there to loose by believing? What is there to gain?
Third- The Bible is the most pr oven document in history. What proof is thee that God doesn't exist?

I think it is wrong. People should be allowed the freedom to believe whatever they choose. Who's to say Christianity is the only way? What make us so unique and special is the fact that we think differently. Everyone has the potential to go to heaven.
