Like how long would the food have to be in the system for these symptoms to occur in the body?

What would be a cause for it?

I'm allergic to seafood, so if I even have a pea-sized ammount (even if I don't know that I've had it), I get very sick. It's usually about a half-hour after I've finished eating when I start to get a stomach ache. After an hour, I'm feverish, have a massive headache, and the stomach ache makes me want to throwup. Two hours after eating, I'm in cold sweats, and I usually pass out. Three hours or so after passing out, I usually puke my guts out and hang around the toilet for an hour or two. Then, it's over. I feel tired. I feel sick. But it's pretty much over.

That's pretty much it. Hope it helps!

it could take up to 24-48 hrs for the symptoms to appear. It is caused by either poor sanitation of the cooks work station or spoiled food being served

Yeah you could if it happened within 24hrs of eating the food that would likely be food poisoning just keep hydrated.Unless your female and got early symptoms of pregnacy then I would take a test if you've got a missed cycle.Since that could be morning sickness.

food tainted with bacteria can indeed cause those symptoms, and it takes about four to six hours before the bacteria multiply enough to cause the problem.
food not properly cooked, food not adequately refridgerated, food left out for more that four hours, inadequate hygiene in cooking can all introduce bacteria into food.
