Human food is not healthy for dogs, especially puppies! You should never give him any table scraps so he won't beg in the future.

Puppies should have a balanced meal in the form of a dry
kibble in the puppy sized niblet. Preferably a blend without
preservatives, coloring and articial additives. Look for Pet
Promise that is recommended by Dr Andrew Weil. A notably
MD who believes in natural healing for people and dogs. You
won't find anything in that brand to enable a dog to get sick.
We give our two dogs bites or sometimes a small plateful
of beef, chicken and pork. But this isn't habitual. A treat from
time to time. We used to have a dog who loved people food
and would not eat her dry food until all hope was exhausted
for people food coming her way that day.
But my late MIL had dogs she only fed cooked chicken. And
they lived long lives without any kibbles. And they didn't have
to go to the vets either. So I can't go along with the saying
that people food isn't good for them. It most likely lacks the
amount of nutrients an active dog should have. So I would
only give bites as an occasional treat, before it thinks that
is the only food it prefers. And then loses its' playfulness and
puppy actions from a heavier diet than it should have. Find
a dry pet food and start with a cup full and if it doesn't eat
within the time you set the bowl down.Pick it up and put it
down later in the day when it should be more hungry. Don't
let him 'expect' to eat from your plate whenever you eat.
This will be hard to break, but you have to set the rules now.
Oh, and make sure you set down fresh water three times a
day to keep it fresh. Especially during the summer heat.

It is a good thing. Feeding a dog the same thing everyday for the rest of his life, may cause the dog to develop an allergy to the food. By giving him some left over food such as a veggies, cheese or fruit, you lower the risk of your pet having allergies.

yes this is bad for him,He will start wanting nothing but human food and he is not getting the right vitamins and minerals. He also needs hard dog food to keep his teeth clean and his breath smelling o.k.. Give him a treat of a bite of food when he does something good or to get him to do tricks. Sit, stay, come, shake, role over, ect.

well... in my opinion, giving human food to dogs is OK if done properly. if ur eating meat or veggies, such as a hot dog, steak or carrots/peas, u could probably give ur dog some. but dont over do it. also, avoid a lot of breads and sweets. a little bit of bread or a half a cookie is ok, but again dont over do it.
giving a dog ur table scraps, AFTER A MEAL, in unison with his normal food is ok but watch the starchy stuff. if u want ur dog to feel special tho u can always jsut pour some leftover gravy from ur meal, on his/her food. this is a great way to reward ur dog, given ur not over doing it. a little bit of human food here and there is fine.
if ur still not sure, consult ur vet, he/she would no for sure

The "no human food for dogs" deal is a myth that I'm really surprised people continue to believe. My dogs have done WAY better on a diet of cooked vegetables and meat. As long as you are doing it right, there is absolutely no harm in it; in fact, it's better for them if you do it correctly. Mainstream dog foods, and even many high quality ones, have awful ingredients. My dogs get a a meal each day of of veggies and meats, in addition to the best quality kibble I can find, though I'm considering cutting it out completely; I only keep it because they munch a few pieces while I'm out of the house for a snack.
Only certain vegetables should be fed, and the meat needs to be cooked and of good quality, organic/high quality if you can afford it. To save time and questions with vegetables, there are pre-made dog veggie mixes to take away the guess work, and meats like chicken, turkey, lamb, and veal are all great, as long as they are boneless. If you ever decide to feed them normal food regularly, make sure they have something to chew on to keep their teeth in good shape, like n-bones, chew bones of good quality, etc.
If you want to feed food sporadically, make sure you check out the foods that are harmful to dogs first, like onion, garlic, chocolate, macadamia nuts, avocado, grapes, broccoli, etc. No meats with bones either; some people feed raw bones, but I really don't believes it is safe. And raw diets are way too risky for my tastes!

Speaking from personal experience. My dad use to feed our
King Charles and YES its VERY BAD!!!
Human food is high in fat and eventually the dog won't be able to break down the fat and the dog can develop pancreatitis which is very painful and can kill the dog. No human food. Put your puppy on Holistic dog food very good for Fido, people food bad for Fido.....
I hope this helps. P.S when your gets pancreatitis its very expensive to treat.

Yeah it's bad for them.. Especially every day and every 2 minutes.. That's a whole lot of human food.. Just feed him a good quality kibble, that's what he needs to stay healthy.

I didn't see anything wrong with giving my corgi a bite or two of my food. Now I have a very obese dog. We don't realize how many calories we are giving our dogs when we give them a bite or two. Keep to their food.

human food is not good for dogs, or cats, because of the amount of fats and other nutrients that we consider healthy but is hazardous to dogs. the fat content of our food is too high for dogs, and it can make dogs very sick if you feed them human food.
and plus, after a while and they get used to human food, they'll never eat dog food again. so don't feed human food to your dog again. it's for his own sake.
