Of course. You didn't even mention that God lied to Adam --- he said Adam would drop dead as soon as Adam ate the fruit.

God had already put free will in place. God said do not eat of the tree of knowledge for they will surly die. Adam and Eve knew for a fact who their creator was. They still ate from the tree. God made us in His image. So for God to show emotion and prove that He care what choices we make is what is also established by this bible story. God knew just as you will know something is going to happen bad and know it is coming. You still get mad when it actually happens even though you for-seen it coming. God has a hope for all His creation (man) to open their heart and accept Him in. So much so that God wired it into us to leave no atheists in fox holes.

Actually, the bible states when God is talking to Adam in the garden, he said.
When you eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil.
Notice here, he did not say if, he said when.
This tells me that God knew that we (mankind) would break the only law we had. One rule was all we used to have, one rule is what we broke.
God did know it was going to happen,, he left it up to Adam as to when it would happen. We were made with the ability to disobey, we were not created as robots.

God wasn't surprised by what happened. He was disappointed. We cannot fathom God's knowledge of things because we are limited in understanding. That's why we have all this technology but we're still screwed up and often times all out STUPID. No, religion didn't do this. Man under Satan's influence did this. When man tries to out think God (as if) he gets into trouble. And at the expense of his eternal life and paradise.
Just as children don't know why fire burns but they stay away from it. We are to learn from this lesson.
God bless

How could we as talking monkeys ever really know the creator of a universe. There is no difference between the bible and the Iliad . It is all myth. By the way, I am a firm believer in God just not the crap they feed me.

God told the man that in the "day" of you eating of the fruit of the Knowledge of good and evil, you will surely die. Since God fore warn man of this, the man and his woman were banish from their beautiful home. Man was told, in the sweat of your brow you will work, there fore he had to work and live outside his original home. Next, in the "day" of you eating of the fruit, in the day- is this a 24 hr day, in God 's creative day, how is this day calcultaed? Don't say God lie if you don't know what this day is. Adam & Eve did eventually die.

Religion has twisted God like a pretzel. God originally was a woman and religion made God into a man.

No, He knew they would eat the fruit and that they would be thrown out...He "tested" them..it's like on Saw...
The guy basically knew that people were going to die anyway, but why not have some fun with them, like "if you get the key out from behind your eye, you'll live"? That's what God is like...

One of the greater points of God not only being a Man, but also a God.
Just like the Invisible Pink Unicorn is not only Invisible but is also Pink.
