It's a shame that the lie is still alive! The Catholic Church had nothing to do with the original 12 Apostles, and neither did the LDS Church. The Catholic Church was started over 300 years after Christ had already returned to heaven. The Apostles would have been persecuted by the Catholic Church for being heretics if they had still been alive during that time...because they kept the Sabbath, and did not pray to anyone but God the Father in Jesus' Name. Also, they believed in reading the Scriptures, and not calling any man father but Our Father in Heaven. The idea that Peter was the first Pope is to say that Peter was blasphemous...no human on Earth has the right to claim they speak for God.
There is no "fullness of whatever" from that Catholic Church...because they defy what Jesus had said to do...avoid the traditions of man but to keep the Holy Word of God as doctrine. Peter never would bow down to any graven image because that's against the Ten Commandments which true Christ believing people will follow...as is forgetting the first Holiday that God instituted in the Garden of Eden for all mankind--the Seventh-day Sabbath in Memorium of Creation...made for Mankind to commune with our Creator, and rest from the toils of every other day.
If the Protestants really want to break away from the chains of Babylon, they need to stop keeping the day she set aside...Deis Solis--Sunday, the 'Lord's Day' as they put it...it is Apollo's Day, and Lucifer's Day...He is not My Lord! My Lord is the One True God, YHWH!!!

It is sad that so many people are deceived by the Beast, and the Little Horn. When the righteous hear the cry to come out of her, they will leave Babylon and her harlotry. The Elect will not be fooled in the end, because they will listen to that still small voice. They will open their eyes, ears, minds and hearts to the Holy Spirit...and will be covered by the Blood of the Lamb. The Bible says that 1/3 of the Angels fell from grace with Satan. It also says that only 1/3 of all humanity will be saved. Are you ready to put on incorruption and leave the traditions of man? Come out of her my people...pray for latter rain. Let the Holy Spirit guide you to understand truth, because it will set you free from that bondage of death and destruction. Read what my friend Xyoob_Lauj wrote above, and CMHELP1...they know the truth.

The Catholic Church was formed in 305/6 by 29 of 30 men that decided to create a religion that they DID NOT have to obey ALL Jesus said. Any history books not written by the Catholic church say this; including the Bible. They met in the Synagogues in the evenings it says right in Acts.
So the Pope is very wrong in what he claims.

The Pope should read the book of Revelation, about his mighty church and her corruption and most importantly how she will be handled by God the Almighty!

Re 17:1 One of the seven angels who had poured out the seven bowls came over and spoke to me. "Come with me," he said, "and I will show you the judgment that is going to come on the great prostitute, who sits on many waters.

Re 17:15 And the angel said to me, "The waters where the prostitute is sitting represent masses of people of every nation and language.

Re 17:16 The scarlet beast and his ten horn which represent ten kings who will reign with him all hate the prostitute. They will strip her naked, eat her flesh, and burn her remains with fire.

Revelation 19:1-4 After this, I heard the sound of a vast crowd in heaven shouting, "Hallelujah! Salvation is from our God. Glory and power belong to him alone."

Re 19:2 His judgments are just and true. He has punished the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and he has avenged the murder of his servants
----------------
Now, that is what is going to happen to the great Catholic religion and nothing less.

God Bless You

The Pope did not speak on this subject. He approved a new document that states nothing new: http://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/cfaith/documents/rc_con_cfaith_doc_20070629_responsa-quaestiones_en.html

Most Christian denominations believe that each of them is the fullest version of the Church of Christ.

While the Catholic Church also believes that she is "the highest exemplar" of the mystery that is the Church of Christ, she does not claim that non-Catholic Churches are not truly Christian. The Catholic Church teaches:

Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.

Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.

All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.

With love in Christ.

this means very little to Christians because the head of the Church is Jesus Christ not the Pope. Why would a believer care what the Pope says, he is a man and thus errors.

He never said that. But no one wants to really read what he said now do they?

They just want the news to translate it for them.

Anyways, most protestant and other religions that branched off the Catholic church, as adamantly stated over and over again, that it was a false Church (the catholic church), and that catholic's were going to go to hell, because they have it all wrong. And they are mislead by satan....

So why are you all in an uproar now?

Why dont you read the whole story instead of saying false things?

says other Christian communities are either defective or not true churches and Catholicism provides the only true path to salvation.

Which is true. For over 1,500 years there was only one church(the Catholic Church) one faith and one baptism. Protestants broke off from the true church of Jesus Christ, formed their own bibles and their own interpretations of the bible. They dont have the fullness of Christ that the Catholic Church does thru Sacred Tradition, the 7 Sacraments and the complete Bible.

The church had a good man for a while, the last Pope, but it is back to a confused deceptive jerk once again. There have been a lot of crooked and power-mad popes over the centuries, and I had hoped that period was over. Alas, no.
