What is worse a hypocrite or a fool ?
A hypocrite knows what is right and does wrong, while a fool does wrong and believes it to be right; who is better ?

Larry Flynt and others who despise pro-family values are using Louisiana Senator David Vitter's admission that he hired an escort service and committed a "serious sin" as an opportunity to say that those who advocate for traditional moral values are hypocrites.
A hypocrite is one who knows right and does wrong, and fool does wrong and believes it is right; I would rather be a hypocrite.
Truth can lie when it is part of the truth.

Hypocrite, because they KNOW what they should do, but do the opposite...the fool has no idea what they should do....
You cannot blame the fool for doing wrong, when they don't know it is wrong.

Well, neither one has true joy or peace (ie the freedom that comes through living the truth). However, I would say that the hypocrite would be in internal torment, while the fool would be relatively happy. At least the fool is true to his conscience, which is really the most important thing.
1 Sam. 16: 7

The fool is better. The fool can be reformed, simply through teaching him. The hypocrite probably has a range of deep emotional issues that might need deep therapy and help... if he is humble enough to seek help, that is.

Lets view this through "Wisdom".
A fool is basking in ignorance.
A hypocrite is filled with false wisdom.
False wisdom is a lower level of consciousness than ignorance.
A person that is a hypocrite comes out of that state of torpor
and surfaces and rises up to a state of ignorance.
Therefore "Wisdom" says that a Hypocrite is worse than a fool.

I despise a hypocrite. The Fool is on the beginning of a journey of knowledge and will learn but the hypocrite abuses the knowledge he's already got.

A sin is a sin. Black and white issue. Both need the continued forgivness and what Jesus did on the cross. If you brake one law you are a law breaker no more and no lesser than the other laws.

my what a puzzling and good question
I would rather see a hyprocrite because I would feel so bad seeing a fool
however; I believe a fool is better because their intentions are good
