This is not a good place to post a question to educate people on JWs. Many don't care and will just bash away. Although your intentions are well meaning this is no place to preach by asking questions, it is only for asking questions you do not know and answer those that you do. I am not against JWs since my mother is one and I believe what they teach is Jehovah's word.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians who understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom by Christ Jesus is a real government which will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.

Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

I know of many on here that love telling lies about us. by the way, we don't ring anyone door at six in the morning, right there is a lie. we don't come to anyone's door until almost ten in the morning. learn what we are about before you slander us. at www.watchtower.org. the devil has them blinded

i have a few questions for you

1 - is charles taize russell one of the 144 000?

2 - the watchtower quotes from books that the average jw is barred from reading - why is this? and why do they never cite the page they are quoting from to make it hard to find the quote to check its accuracy?

3 - date setting - you were told millions now living will never die - with regard to the 1914 predicted 'return of the lord' - and yet the date keeps being reset when the events didnt happen as predicted - if it was right the first time then why the need to reset it? also 1975 didnt happen either - so why keep date setting when the watchtower has been so inaccurate to date?

4 - did you read things both before and against the watchtower society before joining up to give you a balanced viewpoint before you joined?

5 - why does the watchtower need to keep 'updating' their 'translation' of the bilble (new world translation)? couldnt God have written it well enough the first time so that it didnt need to keep being added to? or didnt jesus come back in 1914 (inviably) as the jws claim? couldnt he have helped the watchtower get it right the first time (if he did indeed come back which is debatable)

6 - why dont the 'translators' of the nwt make themselves known? their credentials need to be checked surely? do any of them actually speak greek or hebrew? i do know that chris sanchez who 'translated' the spanish version of the nwt was given an english bible at bethel (the jws HQ) and told to get on with it - he freely admits that he knows no greek or hebrew.

7 - the tetragammaton - YHWH - is 'translated' as jehovah rather than yahweh. jehovha is a non word in hebrew containing the consenants of yahweh mixed with the vowels of adonai - yet jws insist on thsi being the 'correct' name for God - why is this?

8 - when going door too door offering 'bible studies' why do you then insist on going through the latest magazine instead? surely that is a magazine study not a bible study?

9 - when being baptised why are folks being baptised 'in the name of the father, the son and the HOLY SPIRIT DIRECTED ORGANISATION?

10 - the blood issue - given that jws are permitted to accept any and all of the blood componants but if they are mixed together as full blood they are not - why is the watchtower insisting that people die rather than accept blood transfusions? i know you are told about not 'drinking' blood in accordance with anceint pagan religions but that has nothing to do with drinking or worshipping pagan gods so why has it been interpreted that way?

ok i think that 10 questions that you have invited the general public to offer are plenty for the time being

i have put a website below if anyone else wants some help with the above questions or any other matter to dow ith the jws

to all people bashing JW's, We do not go to your door at 6am...at least I have NEVER heard of that being acceptable. We do have people who were disfellowshipped, some still attend services at my hall because they are repentant of the sin they commited. ALL churches have excommunications and dis-fellowshipping. Why should we allow someone to be disruptive and or not follow the Bible and call themself a member. Yes, we have high standards for ourselves. Do you really think God will be mad that we went preaching His word? Do you think that He will be mad that we kept away from mainstream society and all of its violence? When will you learn to stop attacking us?~~ Oh yes when Jesus returns...COME LORD JESUS!

Zorrro, you have an outstanding zeal. The only thing is you have wasted it in this forum. There are too many tactless humans here to dash faith to bits.
There are those that never ask questions...they just answer what they can.
Jehovah blesses every attempt to advertise his word. And he does have such high standards that people would have to pass a series of tests to see if they can qualify to be a Witness.
Don't let them discourage you.

If you are one of JW, you can not "advertise" God's "Good News of the Kingdom" on the internet. This is an personnal aproach you use, a personal message that you give to a wanting/ listening ear. You have to get feed back in order to respond candidly. You cann't do that here because you are "casting your peals before swine". contact your congregation.
