Yes I would say that it is a little strange to have a wisdom tooth come in at 13. It should be more like 18-20. Are you sure it isn't your second molar, as that usually erupts in when you are 12? Keep in mind, a wisdom tooth is your third molar.

It could be your wisdom teeth coming in- my brother had to get his out at 11, but I didn't even get my 12-year-old molars until I was 16, so everyone is different. You need to have your parents schedule you an appointment with your dentist, and he or she will be able to tell you what is going on, and if it is your wisdom teeth, whether or not you need to have them removed.

No usually you get wisdom teeth when you are around 18. Although I am getting mine and I started cutting when I was 13 and thats only because I already had my 12 year old molars at age 9...so my mouth is a fast developer...but you might be getting ur 12 year old molars. Everyone's mouth develops at different rates. Go to ur dentist and when they take X-Rays they will tell you whats going on...

that sounds wierd but i know for a fact that your wisdom teeth are not coming in because they don't come in 'till yuor about 18 to 20 years old. and about that little wierd ball in your mouth i would consider the next time you go to the dentist just ask them about it, thats what i would do.

You should check to see if this is your second molar. It is possible for it to be your third molar, though, if you are ahead of the game. I have seen a patient in my office that got them in at 13 years old.
