its already mid july, and i want to lose weight (50 lbs.) before school starts, what should i do?

exercise your head off. In the beginning you can expect to lose 5 pounds, but in reality, 1-2 pounds a week is healthy and normal. People who eat breakfast lose a third more weight than those who don't.
Give up the carbs or at least go low on them. Eat whole grain breads, rice and pastas, skip potatoes and eat only 1/2 cup or one slice of bread three times a day.

Eat mostly fresh or frozen vegetables of all colors.
Eat lean meat like chicken or fish.
Eat fish twice a week such as salmon.
Add some nuts and seeds to your diet a couple of times a week.
Eat little fat or oils.
Eat low calorie, low carb food with high nutrition.
Drink low-fat or skim milk, yogurt, or cottage cheese
Do not eat within two hours of going to bed.
Drink 8 glasses or more of water a day.
No soda. No foods with sugar or high fructose corn syrup in the first five ingredients on the ingredients list. Skip the junk and subsitute with healthy food.
Watch your portion size.
Go on the net and check out healthy diets at the cdc for your age group.
Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. The whole country is losing weight by walking every day fast. Use music or a friend to make it fun and walk new places
Find exercise you enjoy. Stretch first to prevent injury. Have some fun.

You can lose a lot of weight by school. Don't starve. Eat 3 good, normal meals with normal portion sizes a day with two snacks. Take a multivitamin.

Easy. Cut off your left arm in the first week. Your right arm after that. Then your left leg from the knee down... and so on... No. not really. That is too much weight to lose in that time. Just eat healty and run or walk half an hour a day. Instead of giving yourself a number for a weight loss goal just set your goal for something like half an hour of exercise for a day and no take away food or something.

I have lost a lot of weight because I have recently found out a "secret." First take everything you would normally eat and cut that portion in half. If you would eat a steak for dinner, eat half a steak. Next thing is to excercise. But be careful because you are drastically lowering your calorie intake you will lose energy so don't overwork yourself. Half an hour a day is great. Trust me if you follow this plan you will lose lots of weight in no time.

Yea, you can't! It's completely unhealthy and unsafe. The ideal amount to lose is 1-2 lbs per week. Also keep in mind, the slower you lose weight, the less likely you are to gain it back and visa verse applies.

to loose 5 pounds a week u need to be cut 20,000 calories. extremely unhealthy!!! baaaaad idea.
instead eat low cal food like salads drink lots of water and run for an hour a day.
u will have lost enough weight and will become firmer. if u continue that after school opens u will get to that perfect body soon enough.

You can lose, generally, about 2-3 pounds a week. It's simple, and easy. Just take 4 less bites of everything then you usually do. I have been doing this. It really works!!

set a more realistic goal, like two pounds a week and accept that if you hadnt over eaten in the first place you would not be in the shape you are now. there is no magic bullet to acheive safe and lasting weight loss....you simply have to eat less and exercise more, if you lose two pounds a week you are doing good. If you lost five pounds a week you would become quite ill before you ever achieved your goal.

An easy way is to work out before and after you eat. This will speed up your metabolism, and you will lose weight very quickly. another good thing if your doing this is, since your speeding up your metabolism, it would be okay to go out for fast food once and a while becuase since you have a fast metabolism, you wont gain weight.

Diet and exercise, thats about it. Don't restrict too much, or you will gain all the weight back on when you start eating normally. Well, just eat right, exercise quite often, and you should be set. Hope I helped!

Well i lost 1 stone(14pounds) a while back, in 3 days so you can do it too. Try powder protein shakes they give a good energy boost to give the momentum to lose that FAT
