Can anyone please direct me to site, or at least site your source, about which Australian state consumes the most sugar; not just sugar, but sugary products such as softdrinks, coridals, ice-creams, etc.. Thank you.

I'm thinking more along the lines of, taking the population of each state into account, which has the highest per person amount? I was wondering if maybe the hotter states consumed more softdrink and ice-cream, that kind of thing. Thanks for your answers so far.

I would think the hotter states would consumer more cold drinks and ice-cream. I live in North Qld, hot and humid...

I did a wee search on google for consumer stats, for in-depth information on what states consumes what - they have fees to pay for those kinds of reports.

If I find anything I'll 'edit' my answer

New South Wales. Presuming the rate of consumption of sugar products is much the same across the country, NSW has a million more people than any other State and so will consume the most.
