As I was crawling through the attic to do a cable install, I saw a little door and through it I heard something thumping really loud as if it were going after me. As I got down and was driving I noticed it was a Lion. It did not attack me but was chasing me. What does this mean????

Wow! I had this exact same dream!

I'm juss kiddin'.... But I would like to try to and interpret your dream.

Usually no one goes up in their attic unless they've turned it into a bedroom, study, running off squirrels, or hunting for junk to sell. So, it means you will be in a place that you don't normally go and you will have slight complications or difficulty (the crawl space). You may be aggravated a little bit or inconvenienced - but it will be minor (the crawl space). An obstacle will arise (or some trouble ahead) or there will be something you will have to deal with to get what you want or need done and you will blow it out of proportion (the small door with the loud thumping). You will blow it out of proportion so much that you may procrastinate or try to avoid it all together (your fear of what's behind the door causing the noise). But the more you avoid this little thing, the worse it will be on you because you are or will be wasting time and running away this "problem" for nothing (Panicking and Running from a lion that got through a SMALL door? Your mind playing tricks on you.).

Face this small demon. Get on the ball and get this thing taken care of and you won't have to worry about it any longer. The problem may not be as big as it seems.

Hi Em, in dreams where there is something chasing you, it usually represents a problem or perhaps a change- something of that nature- that you are avoiding. Just consider in a very personal way, what each symbol means to you. Are lions something you fear especially, or are they an animal you are more familiar with than most...? Your brain associates stimuli such as pressures, emotions, daily events sometimes in familiar images that we tie responses to. If you think a lion is a frightening animal, ready to devour you (but I realize from your dream it did not harm you), than a frightening element of your life might take this shape. Consider the environment you experienced the dream in: a confined space. One often feels pressure and panic in such an environment, if I had to guess on a general level, I'd say there is a lingering problem the size of a fierce lion waiting to be solved, and it might just be overdue. Hope it helped! :)

If you dream someone is chasing you, consider the context.

If the chaser wants to harm you, this can represent a feeling or fear of: persecution, hostility, aggression, criticism, etc. by another person or by "people in general." It can also represent real-life situation where you feel your boundaries have been crossed or your integrity has been compromised.

If someone who likes you is playfully chasing you, it could represent your perception that they like you and/or might want to know you better.

Occasionally, a lion in a dream means that you'd benefit by having less lion-like qualities right now. To dream you're being attacked by a lion means you fear an unpredictable attack on your integrity - emotional, mental, or physical.

Lions are REGAL, they are COMMANDING, they are TERITORRIAL, they are HUGE, and I know if a Lion was chasing me in a dream in an attic- it would mean to me that in my subconscience mind there is a dominating figure in my life that intimidates me a bit and although he/she may not hurt me, they scare me a bit and I need to either get away from this person with lion like attributes or face the problem head on. Is anyone bossy or self centered trying to control you?

Typically, in dreams lions represent physical strength and success or self-assertion. However, in your case, a lion chasing you means that you struggle with natural feelings of anger or aggression.

Lion is symbolic of the devourer or devil. Attic represents the private area of your life. The crawl space represents the devil finding a narrow path into your life.

The Lion in your dream can be your feelings of anger,or fear of expressing your anger, but it is also the sort of strength a women has enabling her to jump into the rough sea to save her child.in some dreams you may run from or be afraid of the lion, but this may be fear of your own strength and assertiveness,so at times of stress,a lion may appear in your dream representing your anxiety that unexpected events may ''attack'' you,or as a reminder of your inner strength.
It is very common for children to have dreams of being chased by a lion. They are taught not to be angry or assertive and they are running away from their own strength.
(of course this applies to adults too).
Feeling at ease with a lion shows how much you have achieved in the way of inner harmony between your natural or instinctive feelings and your conscious personality.
If you dream that you become a lion,it means that you are accepting your own natural strength and assertiveness.I hope I was of some help.Take care.
