It depends on what chemical Saddam buried in the sand beneath where the bomb hits.

Bombs that are being used by the US forces do not leave a residue. They are generally HE type explosives.

The bombs target can emit something if it was a weapons factory making NBC weapons.

Not from the bomb themselves, and since Iraq suffers from nast sand storms, I wouldn't even list hazardous dust kick up except from maybe toxic chemicals from a building.
