Yes.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

You can lose weight from swimming if you swim a lot and diet. Also, swimming is a really great excercise because there is no impact so it's harder to get hurt.

I started out saying "yes", but with research, have to say no. Swimming seem to burn about 5% the calories of similiar excercise. Swimmers have a higher body fat count than non-swimmers doing other vigourous exercise. Odd.

Studies show it is not great for weightloss. They don't know why. It is good for cardivascular health, flexibility, muscles, etc. It seems it is good for fitness but not for losing weight. I saw article after article saying it does not help weightloss and one saying it did, with some trusted sources quoted both ways. Hmmmm. For me, the jury is still out. I searched under "Swimming for weightloss". Check it out. I was and remain very surprised.

Swimming is the best thing for burning calories because it works your entire body instead of just your legs.

swimming is indeed an exercise, it takes continuous swimming laps to burn calories, not just splashing about in a pool tho.
