I am very fair skinned and have had several broken capillaires on my arms and one by my eye for as long as I can rememer. Recently, more have been popping up. I notice the new ones after times when I have gotten really upset and have been crying a lot. Some of the older ones are also now speading. They aren't incedibly noticeable to other people, but they are unsightly and really starting to upset me.

Is there any way to reduce their appearance and/or help prevent the accurance of any new ones?

Are there any products that will successfully cover them? My regular concealer barely lessens the redness.

I read somewhere about Vitamin C helping, but my moisturizer has it, and I always use sunscreen...so I don't know.

Keep using your sunscreen. I would recommend trying a vit C with high amounts of bioflavinoids, especially Rutin, taken orally. See a dermatologist to rule out something like rosacea.

a lot of people break the capillaries in their face when crying...a dermotologist can take care of it. i had 1 that was big and raised. he froze it. the others can be treated also. a lot of derms will inject saline into the capillary. it stings a little but it works.

these are hemangiomas and are genetically linked. There are laser treatments to reduce or eliminate them, talk to a plastic surgeon.
