Soaked foot in hot water and applied peroxide and neosporin. What else can I do (besides go to the dr)?

just clean it at least once a day with mild soap and water and take ibuprofen for swelling otherwise you're doing good for first aid and take those crappy shoes back where they came from

Keep the area clean, apply an antibiotic ointment and cover the area with a band-aid. Don't wear those sandals again until the area has completely healed. Even then, it would be best to protect the area with a band-aid or some sort of padding.

Peroxide tends to be to harsh for the skin and can cause damage. If the area is red and heated then it is definately infected which would require taking some type of antibiotic and this can only be given from your doctor. Good Luck!!

Go to the drugstore and buy a can of Bag Balm. It comes in a small green can and works wonders.
