Yes, I agree with you. I'm Pro-life too.
The feminists these days, believe they can do what they want with their body. But they seem to forget once their pregnant its not just their body anymore. Women should not have full rights to abortion because the baby is half the mans aswell.
"Doesn't this imply that women have full rights to a child's well being and therefore a father should only be obligated for responsibility toward the child if he also chooses for the woman to have the baby?"
Yes thats correct. Men shouldn't be obliged to look after the baby. But think of it this way, if that law was imposed, then the rate of abortions would go up because women would hav no guranteed child support money.
Although, it would be much better to just outlaw abortion full stop. Problem solved.

Abortion should never be performed to begin with. Why should a baby die because a man is unable or unwilling to take care of it?
I think the moral of the story is to not risk impregnating women if youre not ready to handle the responsiblities. And dont have sex with a woman unless youre married and want to be loking at her face everyday you wake up for the next 50 years.
I think the REAL Q should be, why are men still responsible for child support payments if the woman remarrys or if she has someone living there? That is completely unfair.

Yah you're right men don't get pregnant!!! But are you forgetting something??? a zygote don't pop out from the egg cell alone!!! Men do the part with their sperm cells!!!
with regards to full right of abortion and men having the BURDEN- well, again you're right a woman can do whatever she want's to the baby... she can either let the baby live or kill it!!! but the bead of the matter here is if YOU LET the mother kill the baby then she can... its not a matter of having right because no one has the right to do so!!!
Responsibility- of course you really have to be responsible but it doesn't mean its you alone. the baby is a being, a creation of GOD, and of course the father and the mother. Parents are oath to raise them, love them and provide their basic needs...

Both parents should be responsible for the child...period. Doesn't matter what decisions brought the child into this world, it is safety and welfare of that child that should be paramount.
Catherine E. So what if the guy didn't wear a condom...are you saying the woman can't say no?

The woman caries the baby and takes care of it. The father did help with the impregnation. It's the woman's body so the woman's choice. If she chooses to have the baby the father is obligated as it is his child. Pregnancy is both their responsibility. It a man doesn't want to be burden with child support, he has to help in prevention.

Ouch...
Big can of worms.
In my household, pregnancy is a two way street... we do certain activities we use best prevention we can, but if we get pregnant we will keep it and both are responsible... I know this isn't the case in all households..

The woman can't get pregnant without a man. While she can get an abortion, if the man is responsible he should use a condom or ensure some method of Birth Control is used to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Don't be irresponsible.

Are you asking this question as a legal question or as a moral question? The law says that the woman has ownership of her body and any unborn baby that she is carrying. Once the baby is born, it becomes the obligation of both parents. Morally both parents are responsible from conception and will answer to God about their choices.

Men don't get pregnant. They don't need abortion rights. A woman's body doesn't become a man's property just because she happens to be pregnant.
Born children need to be supported - each parent bears half the responsibility of caring for the child. That's fair.
I have to wonder about the agenda of anti-choice people who think a born child should only be HALF-supported.

I agree with you.
All the corruption in courts and the world, this life is not fair..... I know about that..... all my life I was accused of things I haven't done...... although all the ones doing the accusing feel just, knowing someone got nailed for their problems.
It's sad to know that these people that are in charge of the laws don't have any brains or heart to be fair and understanding to make correct decisions.
