I see many questions posted about "what is the right age to have sex"?

Can you imagine the shock of your wife/husband on your honeymoon...having to explain that you have Herpes, or STD, or something worse?

People are NOT smart, as the commericial states so, and I sure SOMEONE dropped that bomb on the big night...

Something can also be said for birthcontrol...it does not absolve one of carrying emotional baggage from shattered/broken relationships based on using someone for nothing more than a release of sexual tension.

You make a good point - but...

Where's the Question?

Waiting till marriage is a good idea, however, I don't like people pushing their beliefs onto everyone. I support you in what you believe, but what if the person that asked the question doesn't see it the same way as you? I do agree with the whole baggage and stuff, but I believe that when someone is ready, nothing you can say will change their mind.

Chances of catching std's are very low when using protection unless you sleep with ALOT of people. And you dont need to have sex to carry emotional baggage from a ruined relationship.

ya our "animal' nature makes are bodies want sex but unlike animals we have the power to stop it. that's why masturbation is a tool for that.
i am a 100% virgin, i never kiss, never had a bf, nothing. i really want to stay a virgin till i am married. i tell this to people and they tell me i am nuts and sick, that i live in the old ages, i am old fashion. i only want to have sex with someone that i really love. someone that i will always remerber, it not called having sex... that is what animals do and people that have no morals do. its called making love. thats what i want.

dude wtf's ur question????? but w.e it is i understand wat ure sayin and i totally agree. A lotta ppl say **** like 'lets do it to prove our love' jus to bang eachother and foolin themselves by usin the word 'love'. A true relationship wit 'love' in it doesnt involve sex at all, i seriously dont no why everyone is in such a hurry to lose their virginity, its not like u win a lottery wen u lose it. I got a really nice girl and we really love eachother and we havent even mentioned sex, i personally wanna stay a virgin till marriage to say the truth and if she agrees to marry me later on then yea i guess ill be comfortable wit it...

abstinence prior to one's marriage may not be attractive or sexy or the "new black"

but...

there is NOTHING sexy about being the HS skank, the jock with every STD ever known to man or Hepatitis Alphabet Soup....believe me...THERE IS NOTHING sexy about that one either..

ahh and I don't want your sexually tensive baggage on my door because you couldn't wait till the special guy/gal crept into your life!
