Non-Religious Jews, Jew Atheists, and homosexual Jews to be citizens of the holy state? Are they going against the Torah being so liberal? Why do men in drag run around university campuses? is that not against the word of God who gave you the Promised Land?

Are they allowed to be citizens despite their sacrilegious lifestyles, to build the Israel economy? Are they just there as consumers, like Americans are to the US government?

Gypsy_cat: Those prostitutes are probaly men, Jews have the highest homosexual rate too (no offense Alias).

And, I almost forgot, they are more prone to get bipolar disorder. With all these statistics, who would win the war without weapons and money?

Gratval: Palestine was never an Islamic state, it is the holy land home of 3 major religions. You are clearly not educated on the history of Palestine.

Lemon cream 1: I am only doing what everyone else does to the Muslims and Palestinians, that is 'stereotype'. clearly You do not like it when it is done to you. I am only aking why there is such a contradiction in the defense of why Israel has the right to dehumanize Palestinians, is it religion or not? Because if Israel is a secular state, then why the use of "chosen people" propaganda when defending it's existance?

Well , could it be that they are only " Jewish " in a religious sense if or when it suits them ?

What percentage of the population are actually practising as jews ?

Certainly those you have described above can't be just as those who claim to be Christians in the west yet are living ungodly lives need to take a good long look at their lifestyle & behaviour !

The major difference here is that the State of Israel was formed on the basis of their supposed God given rights & at the expense of the Palestinians !

Ignoring the Zionist slight :(...the answer is that there are different definitions of Europe. Geographically Israel is not really a part of Europe but culturally and economically, it has many similarities to European nations. Some countries such as Kazakhstan seems less likely contenders to be in UEFA but because it was part of the old Soviet Union, UEFA considered the nation worthy of an invite. Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and of course Russia itself which is mostly in Asia fall into a similar category. Turkey is mostly in Asia but its history has been very much tied to Europe.

I'mok, ya gots contradictions in yer posting. Since Israel IS so liberal on all this, maybe it's a secular state after all. Technically it is, which is in and of itself a cause for considerable hand-wringing (as in angst, not scheming).

Israel wouldn't do to well too impose religious litmus tests. That's really much more the purview of our very own, the American conservatives who are stacking the Supreme Court.

Don't be shy! Ask me next time.

[added] I'mok - yeah, I know! That's what *I'm* wondering!

Because Israel is a secular state not a religious state. Herzl was secular not religious. The laws of the land are not Jewish law but Western law (many values are the same but some are not).

Gay soldiers serve in the armed forces just like any other Jew (except those who hide away in Yeshivot).

You said "Jews have the highest homosexual rate" - I assume you can back up this statement with facts - otherwise it may be taken to be an anti-semitic slur.

If you actually studied any political history you would know that the Zionist movement was secular, with most of the top leaders being Atheists.

The goal was to establish a democratic state for the Jewish people in their ancestral and cultural homeland. Not to establish an Islamic like theocracy.

but again such information would require an education. Something you clearly lack.

Israel is a state of many contradictions. They use the bible to fool the Religious people around the world. They use democracy and human right propaganda and yet they have no written Constitution to protect the right of native people of Palestine. Israel is not a state yet without a Constitution. Israel is using the emergency laws of British mandate government. Sometimes you hear of good court decisions and most of the time you hear of oppressive decisions against the native people of Palestine. There is no written law to fallow in Israeli courts.

When I asked here about which culture they have they reported the question and when I asked why many of them copy and paste in answers they are also angry. Now I can understand they can't face or see their problems and they don't want to hear about it. They like the lies of the government. I have seen many governments living with lies but not like the one in Israel. I have never seen also a community who got addicted to lies like in Israel.

Because Israel is not an oppressive theocracy, rather it is a democracy commited to human rights.
