i know for sure that iranians speak farsi , i m an afghan but i speak dari ( a different dialect but i can understand someone speaking farsi perfectly) and ppl that are tajik...i dunno bout Fred B who said ppl from pakistan speak farsi they speak urdu which is a mixture of differant languages.
