So I am about 14 and am 5.3 and at 160 pounds. I've been trying to eat healthier and less and i did pilates but i don't know if I should even right now since I need to lose fat first. Then I did cardio for at least 30 minutes a day (but I have to do it in the house so I did like jump roping and dancing) I did exercising and cardio for at least 30 minutes a day and ate less and I don't think it even helped and I was working hard for like two weeks. I'm the biggest kid in my family and they tend to make fun of me when i work out and stuff. Nothing's been helping. Can't have special diet foods or workout dvds and can't go outside much. I just don't know what to do and I have like a ton of jeans in my closet that sit there and I can't wear them anymore. I want to lose weight and get skinnier but the start of school.

Please help me! I have no idea what to do to get results fast! (and I always get even more discoraged when I don't)

I know you wanna lose some weight, you obviously don't like your apperance and you dont like the weight. But believe it or not I'm 14 about to be 15 next month and im about 160 myself if not lighter...but im no toothpick...and frankly I look okay(to me) I could care less what anyone else has to say about me or my weight. But results don't come as fast as you would like, it's progress. I hope this works anything else, I guess would be just exercise and eat right, but dont not eat either....GOOD LUCK!!

Well im also trying to lose weight aswell...
and what i do is

Eat a bowl of cereal in the morning

a light sandwich for lunch

and a salad for dinner

dont eat after 5pm

and i dont eat any kind of junk food what so ever..
no soda..if so i only have a diet coke once or twice a week

i drink lots of water and green tea

and i exercise on my bike for 30-45 minutes 4-5 days a week


any type of cardio will work..(running, jogging,walking..ect)

or for you since you have to stay inside.. running in place, jumping jacks, squats and crunches would work!

I was 150
and i have lost 15 pounds in 4 weeks
and im 16

I'm sorry if u feel that way( I'm 14 to)
first, u should join in any sports at school( but if school hasn't started yet u could practice outside w/ the sport)second, u should only consume 1,200 calories of day( the more fruit and vegetables u eat..the BETTER. ( u should also drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to help speed up your metabolism).thirdly, you need to be getting at LEAST 30-45min a day of cardio. this doesn't always mean running if u dont like to. u could make it more fun if u did it w/ a friend. also, u could just go run around outside w/ ur friends. Finally, stop worrying about ur weight. its not good to stress out about ur weight, its just going to slow down ur metabolism. relax, if u work hard, and do every process i told you daily u should be loosing fat quick.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

while i replaced into 14, i replaced into 5'7 and 165lbs. I performed 3 activities- volleyball, swimming, and music. i'd desire to run 3 miles with none breaks. i replaced into approximately as athletic as somebody who weighed a hundred and twenty, which seems to be the customary weight. i do no longer think of there is truly an customary as a results of fact even once you're somewhat heavier you're nonetheless healthful and athletic!

try a 1500 cal diet of healthy foods. drink water and stay away from caffinated products. you body is in the midst of puberty right now and doing weird things. continue to dance and start walking.by the time school starts. you will have toned and lost a few inches. don't try to lose the weight to fast. it's a sure way to make it come back. it will happen. i promise.talk to your folks. tell them how it hurts when your family makes comments about your attempt to lose the weight. btw, why do you have to excersise in the house?

You should be loosing weight, and eating healthy also really helps, you have to do things like jogg, and ride your bike and things like taht.
