If you mean an annointing as on Pentecost . .. in GOD's good time . .. ask . .. and recognize GOD will do things as GOD chooses . .. JESUS is the GOOD SOWER who plants the seed within us . .. and some seed falls among thorns, and some among rocks, but the seed which falls among good soil produces many fold fruits . .. The Apostles could have been annointed soon as they met JESUS but JESUS didn't annoint them until after the crucifixion when JESUS went to the FATHER and sent the HOLY SPIRIT unto the Apostles. . .

Ask . ..

-LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

Hello it is in 1 John 1:9 IF we confess our sins HE is faithfull and Just to forgive us our sins AND cleanse us from all unrighteousness, when Jesus is because you love Him accepted as a honored guess The Holy Spirit BECAUSE you Love Him and are living up to what you understand God's Will is for your life The Holy Spirit "IF" invited in will live with you and guide only when you decide to turn your back on a direct command of God does that act part The Holy Spirit from you, yes when your saved God forgives and yes He does even if you sin forgive but IF you refuse to give up a known sin, and keep on doing that because God requires you to confess it [and forsake it] and you IF your not willing to accepts your choice and leaves you THEN that sin becomes not pardenable cause your not willing. There is free bible lessons which will lead you further www.amazingfacts.org God bless. By the way baptizem is what the holy spirit will lead you to and will lead you to the truth if but only if you willing to go where He leads.

“Don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God?”

The point is everyone has the Holy Spirit in them. I think the presence becomes stronger when you have accepted the Lord into your life or you treat your body and soul with respect and love.

When the Holy Spirit chooses to come into your soul. You have to be spiritually ready to recieve him, and have to be able to understand what it means to live for God. For some that is in childhood, for others it is not until they are on their death bed. But it does not matter when it happens as long as it happens and it is recieved with an open heart.

When you feel no differences between you and others, when your heart is at that point of understanding, wanting to help others and being compassionate.... you will know when as the Holy spirit enters into your heart.

It's basically when your heart is at this level, when you do and feel the part as Jesus does.

The Apostle Paul clearly taught that we receive the Holy Spirit the moment we believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior. 1 Corinthians 12:13 declares, "For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body-whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free - and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."

When you are baptized.

From the Sacrament of Holy Baptism:

HATH this Child (Person) been already baptized, or no?

¶ If they answer, No: then shall the Minister proceed as followeth.

DEARLY beloved, forasmuch as our Saviour Christ saith, None can enter into the Kingdom of God, except he be regenerate and born anew of Water and of the Holy Ghost; I beseech you to call upon God the Father, through our Lord Jesus Christ, that of his bounteous mercy he will grant to this Child (or Person) that which by nature he cannot have; that he may be baptized with Water ***and the Holy Ghost***, and received into Christ’s holy Church, and be made a living member of the same.

I *received* it when I visited a haunted house. Luckily Bill Murray was there and he talked the Holy Spirit out of me. Then he opened up one of those traps from Ghostbusters to suck up the spirit. It never bothered me again. I lived happily ever after until my spleen exploded from eating too many ding dongs. Now I haunt the internet as a ghost.
