I don't know the history of why the treasury prints that on our money, but perhaps it is a reminder not to put our trust in our money, but rather in God.

it isn't money is the root of all evil, it's the love of money is the root of all evil. we should have in God we trust printed on our money to remind people that we should trust in him and not that almighty dollar they carry around. if we love money , then we lose sight of the things that are really important in life and put money above every one and everything else. and yes, i do expect you to pick the bible up and read it, don't wonder what things mean in it if you don't really care and can't make the time to pick it up and learn for yourself. if you had read it and truly didn't understand it or needed others insight on the topic then come and ask, but don't just write what you assume it says just to get people started.

although it is the American money that says that ... and so it is on there by different standards, and not ( Caesars money )

We need money in order to survived but the other side of the coin money can be used for the wrong purposes, such as greedy gain at the expense of others. Drugs can be used for helping people with their health problems but the other side of the coin drugs can be used in a very abusive way.
