Ok, im 15, and i had a crush on this guy from school for a long time. well over the summer i have got a facebook account and i made a fake account under it, which i no is wrong, but i just wanted to see how people from my school would react towards me. soon after the guy i had a crush on started talking to my web persona and the bad thing is he has a girlfriend. so now we're texting and hes thinking im this gorgeous brunette and im confused because i really enjoy talking to him. hes someone i always had wanted to get close to before and now i basically am but not really myself. it bothers me i cant be honest with him and i dont want to be actually, its so much fun. but i do feel for his girlfriend my friend was talking to her and she had commented that she has a 'wonderful' boyfriend, but he is now telling the fake me that he wants to break up with his girl for my web persona......what should i do. PLEZ HELP!!!

Sounds like the movie "You've Got Mail". The bottom line is you have to be honest eventually and tell the truth. Just choose the best way to do it and get it over with.

lol, i totally did the same thing, only mine was a fake myspace account... haha
I found that the fake thing worked to my advantage... i found out things that i would have never knew about him had i not made the account. Granted I thought it to be extremely wrong, But Very informative...
In the end I will offer you this advice... you were smart enough to make a fake account in order to talk to him, don't you think others have done the same?????? Also if he leaves his current girlfriend for well a fake persona then what makes you think that he would not do that again...
I would not mess with him, he prolly wants to get into that hot brunettes pants...
Good Luck

What if the guy breaks up with his gf and goes to you but realizes he doesn't like you, what then? What if the guy is all about looks and not personality?
You should find another way to get him to notice you, instead of being a fake on facebook.
I don't know.. either way, what you're doing is kind of bad. Sucks so much for the gf though.

ok your stuck in a bad situation so this is the best solution i know for this situation. ok he wants to break up with his girlfriend for your web persona. now you may really want him but if you really really like him you will tell him the truth. if he breaks up with her and finds out you arent who he thought you were. all thats going to happen is that he has his heart broken and that he will feel really stupid about it for awhile. just let him know the real you and everything will be ok as long as you do it before he breaks up with her. good luck

Ehhhh time for you to either admit who you are or get rid of the web persona and try it again with the real you. But I agree he sounds like a jerk so be prepared for him to dump you later on for a web person.

Kill the account. The guy is untrustworthy given his actions and he is not into "you", he likes your alter ego. That's fun and all, but I think its crossed a line where this could get ugly for you. Beside, why would you want a guy willing to dump another girl because he fell for someone he has never met! weak :)

Alright. I have been in a situation before much like the one your in now. Think about this: If he breaks up with his girlfriend and asks you out, he will want to meet you. How will he feel once he finds out you lied? And then once he trys to explain it to his ex, chances are they won't get back together and they will both dislike you. But your in to far to back out. Look- tell him something like "Your a good FRIEND" or say "Your just like my BOYFRIEND" and tell him how you like HIS girlfriend. And chances are, he will wind up breaking up with his girlfriend after a couple of years. Thats the time to ask him out. I hope I helped.

Good news: I'm giving you a green light on this. Keep doing what you enjoy, even if it's not being yourself. You're only 15, and who knows, maybe this will become a part of your identity?
Bad news: You can't be w/ him for long time (2-6 months, I think) b/c you're not being yourself. When you meet face-2-face he'll know.

This is funny... I think this guy is a loser! if he is doing this to his girl he will do the same to you honey! You can keep the fake persona going with him as long as you don't fall for him any deeper! Chances are he isn't going to change for you either!

Oh geez...what have you gotten urself into? -_-
You have to tell him to TRUTH. If not, he will eventually find out anyways, since he's thinking of breaking up with her because of you. You, as in "you" in person, not online. He'll want to meet you. If this "gorgeous brunette" is a real person, you're in more trouble.
