hello i was wondering does this car have a amp that it is built in because think it might of fried my cdplayer

If it has the 6 speaker audio system it will have an external amplifier mounted away from the radio, if it has the 4 speaker system the amplifier is built into the audio control unit.

you would have to pull your head unit out to see if you have an internal amp or not. from my knowledge some camry's have internal amps and some dont.

My 99 Camry doesn't. You may have shorted it out due to bad wiring. Really, only someone who installs them would be able to tell you.

as far as i know it doesnt have an internal amp..
