Most bridal stores (other than Davids Bridal) only carry dress samples that aren't for purchase. Other than that, the selection of dresses in stock for purchase is pretty slim.

The busy season for bridal gown shopping (sometimes referred to as "Bridal Christmas" ) is January-March or April. And the time between Thanksgiving and Xmas is the slow season. So maybe that would be good time to do your shopping.

Davids bridal clearances their inventory based on whether a particular dress is discontinued and how long its been discontinued.

They should do it at least twice, in the fall to clear out summer type dresses and in the spring to clear our winter type dresses and make room for new inventory. Best wishes.
