I'm going American soon and wondering if its ok i wear Australian top on or carry flag? they wont kill me?

It shouldn't be a problem. The US is a mix of people from all over the world. You shouldn't have a problem carrying an Australian flag or wearing anything with the flag on it.
In fact, a lot of people will probably be very friendly towards you because they'll want to hear your Australian accent!

No, it's not like the opposite. The US is a melting pot and their are various representations of other countries (flags included) everywhere.
It's not like if you were traveling outside of the US and wore a US top or flag, then you would get harassed.

It won't matter, there are plenty of people running around with British, Mexican, Swedish, Chilean, Argentinian, and a number of other countries flag on their person. It would be a great conversation starter if you don't mind that.
