It is the b Vitamins and primarily B-2. Your body absorbs what it needs and sloughs off the rest. It is harmless.
If you want to minimize this drinks 6-8 glasses of water per day (Which you should do anyway) and take it with a meal.
Some food like asparagus (rich in B vitamins) will do this too.
All sais and done, there is nothing harmful happening to you from this.

These are the extra nutrition you are body does not want popping out. It would not concentrate your urine. Vit C does the same factor. Your body can simplest manage a specific amount of detailed vitamins at a time. Should you take an excessive amount of of those nutrition it is expelled for your urine. So that you fairly do not get the entire effect. That is why some nutrients are to be taken twice a day (meaning 12 hours apart) so that your physique can get the entire improvement of it. That you would be able to drink extra water seeing that you must anyway, there may be nothing to be worried about. Take them every day, they're water soluble and needs to be replaces everyday.

Your body will use what vitamins it needs and then flush any remainder out when you pee. The excess vitamins is what causes the bright yellow color.

Yes it does. Besides taking vitamins if your pee is bright or dark yellow, you are not drinking enough water. Pee should be a pale light yellow...almost clear.

Vitamin B can do this, because your body only absorbs so much. The rest just goes right through you.

The more nutrients and vitamins you have in your body the more brighter you're urine will be. So, if you're pee is darker, you're not that healthy. If it's brighter, you're more healthy. Same thing happens with water. If your pee is lighter, you're drinking a good amount of water. If you're pee is darker, then you need to drink more.
All the vitamins and nutrients in excess in your body that you don't need goes out through you're urine.

It's the B vitamins, and it only happens the first time you go after taking them.
Then everything goes back to normal.
