I'm going overseas this winter and am planning out my trip. I'm going to be cooking for the families I'm staying with and some of the ingredients are not available there. So, I would need to take them. If I took them in my suitcase, would the pressure or anything cause the cans to rupture? Or is it pretty safe to take them?

My wife is a Filipina; everytime we go to the P.I., I take along foods that I need. That includes cans of soup, peanut butter, etc. Anything that will not rupture easily; don't take any kind of aerosol. If taking anything in a glass jar, make certain it is well packed.
