I am in a wedding this weekend and wanted some really neat ideas for the bride and groom to give to them at the rehersal dinner. I know the bridal party gets their gifts during this time. No gift certificates or anything like that, some cool, unique, creative. Help!

Like I said I know people usually don't give something to the bride and groom that night. I've been in a lot of weddings, I just want an original gift to give them.

i think it would be pretty cool if you got something personalized for them that says their names, date of the wedding and place.
something like jewelry, pillow, blanket, or serving dish

Two wedding gifts that I wish someone would have bought us. (Note: try not to laugh or roll your eyes -- neither is remotely romantic or sentimental, but both are immensely practical -- it really depends on what kind of couple the bride and groom are ...)
(1) a really good shredder - try the Mailmate shredder from Staples. It gobbles up junk mail, envelopes and all. (http://www.staples.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/StaplesProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10001&noredir=true&catalogId=10051&productId=155701&cmArea=SC3:CG868:DP3854:CL141980)
(2) a fireproof box or safe to store valuable papers (like homeowners' insurance, passports, trust/will documents, original birth certificates and social security cards, etc.)

Generally, they gift you and your gift to them (for the rehearsal) is being in the wedding.
But if you want to gift them with something, one of my favorite gifts was someone who made up a basket with a bottle of wine and two hand blown glasses. Very thoughtful for the wedding night and I enjoy them forever and on and on.

I loved getting his and hers watches, I thought it was a neat idea. I know you said no gift certificates, but another friend also gave us a GC to a massage for two. Those were my two favorite gifts we got for a couple.
