I am dating someone who is 5 years older than me and have been for almost seventeen months now. It has been amazing and I would do it all over again if given the same opportunity. The age difference isn't really a big deal for either one of us we look at each other as equals, which is why it works so well. I also know others who have dated and married with 10 years difference and are still happily married. I think its just to each his/her own.

My husband is 9 years older than me, and we couldn't be more happy. Sometimes we joke about the things within our individual generation like music, hobbies and clothes. Its all done out of love and play. But seriously we learn from one another so much. The difference isn't that huge a gap to me, but in time frames you would be surprise how much changes in that window. If both persons are adult and the common denominator is love, then the possibilities are endless!

I not only dated someone 9 years older than I am, I married him. We'd been seeing each other off and on for over 20 years, started seeing each other exclusively in 2004, and married in 2006. I don't know about anyone else, but it worked out for us.

My co-worker and a friend, she is 38 and dating a man who is 65... she's happy about it. I think it'll not work out, because she is already complaining about what he doesn't do with her, for instance, she loves to dance, but he doesn't. Some small stuff, but it can cause trouble between a relationship. However, as long as two can have a lots in common and enjoy each other in most of the things, it'll work out. God bless.

Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
I believe that disparity in age is not a hindrance to a successful relationship. More important is the ability to give and receive reciprocity whether in aspects of physical, mental, emotional, material or even financial.

My wife and I are seperated by 20 years (I"m 35 and she's 55).
We've been happily married for almost 6 years, and we've know each other for about 12 years. Love doesn't discriminate.

I've never dated a guy younger than me but either way it doesn't mean that it won't work for you. I always say "if it works/ worked for Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher and Madonna and guy Ritchie then it can work for anyone"
