IF you are lucky the files may still be on the computer. Check for the following folder.

C:\Windows\options\Cabs

See if you have files in that folder. If so, then when you are asked for the CD ROM, point it to that folder instead.

Good luck!

Upgrade to Windows XP as Win98 is no longer supported.

Or try and find someone who owns a Win98 disk but what is the point?

Hmmm, can you log onto the Internet with that computer? Maybe you can go to updates.microsoft.com while logged in with that computer and it could possibly provide updates there.

If possible you may want to visit www.microsoft.com
