Sure. I've worked food service (and food seems to bring out the worst in some peopel) I got the brunt of it. I had one man call me a lazy f**king ***** because I was working the floor and the stand AND ringing customers (we were a bit short staffed) and I hadn't brought his food out yet...I have a bit of a nasty streak...I "accidentally" forgot to go get it after the crowd had subsided...20 minutes later I brought it out, ice cold. He demanded that I get him something fresh. "Why don't you get another lazy ***** to get it for you..." and I walked off. (I was the only one on the floor, its a small eat in burger joint) ....Don't f**k with people who handle your food.

Yes sometimes. Some people are just like that. There's no point responding exept by being polite in a cold and formal kind of way. This will have no effect on rude people at all, but at least you don't have to lower yourself to thier level.

Of course people are that way. Too many stories to tell. A good blank stare usually cools their jets. Some people are rude just to get a reaction. When they don't get one they move on.

oh yeah lots of times. well here you go. these people we were working on their home. okay now we told them do not walk on the tile for 24 hrs. okay so they did not listen. then we pulled up the tiles re-layed them and then same thing. so i was done what they got is what they were going to have. oh no they were going to fuss. so we re-acted like normal. they yelled i yelled back louder and dirty-er. in the end i left and wished them what they put out. so in the long run. they felt it i am sure. plus i took what was needed to finish the job. okay the next thing a dude was being rude. he started flipping me off. well i took the lid off my 40oz. drink and splashed it across his windshield. what did he get. he got a sticky window with all things in the air stuck to it. me, knowing his window was hard to see out of. look i am nice but till you are a butt wipe i am too. get what you ask for.

Walking in the hallway, (8th grade) and I'm trying to get to class, and there's this obnoxious group of kids simply standing in the middle of the hallway. My bf's in front of me, he has to stop, I bump into him, and a swarm of freaks behind us start saying "walk, move, come on," like somehow, that will give us the amazing power to walk through other students.

My repsonse: "What crawled up your butt?"

hehe. xD

It happens. People I work with can often get stressed and take it out on me, whether they mean to or not. I usually don't take it personally, and I just announce out loud to my co-workers, "Hey, this idiot thinks he can tell me what to do" or something along those lines, and I feel better for venting and I move on.

I just shrug and go on. Its easier to just not care then to get all worked up over someone having a bad day and needs someone to trash.
