Folks in the East Village are more open to meeting people. Hang around Tompkins Square Park on Avenue A or stop in one of the coffee shops.

Try a book or poetry reading if you like that. You may also like to try taking some type of course of your interest. Also you could volunteer somewhere or join a church.

hah u wish, hunny- this is NYC there are next to 0 actual "nice" people there, we all have attitude and if you try to be nice to us we look at you like yer a total nut.
