theres not going to be a chick if there are no males around to fertilize the egg... same situation with humans if you think about it; you pass an egg every month and the only way to have a baby is for it to be fertilized so... the best thing you can do if your bird is excessively laying eggs is to let her brood the clutch for a bit and then remove the eggs... laying eggs is very stressful on a female birds body; so be sure to look up necessary diet requirements for egg layers.

Are you absolutely certain that you have all female Doves? If so there will not be a chick in the egg.
You can hold it up to a bright light and see if there is a dark spot in it, if so...chick.

If you're absolutely sure that they haven't been exposed to a male, then the egg will not be fertile. However, they probably think there's a chick inside and that's why they're sitting on it.

Duh. Only an egg that has been fertilized by a Male can be viable. This means with not male, the egg is sterile and no baby bird will be in it.

It is common for female birds to lay eggs at this time of the year. Chickens do not need a rooster in order to lay eggs. They do just fine on their own.
